Just read some posts about Holm, saying she's a coward because she kicked rousy when she had her back to her lol..

Laughable :D

She got well beaten and the end was inevitable either way

It really is :D Rousy lovers clutching at straws, thinking of every excuse as to why she lost. :p

Before the fight i thought No one would beat Rousy, but after that poor performance my views on her have changed massively, what's next for her? Rematch and try and win her belt back?

I wonder why ronda didn't play to her strengths, keep out of the stand up and fight on the mat. Maybe she believed her own hype of being a great striker.

Her corner really needed a strategy change after that first round but she just blundered forward eating shot after shot. She didn't look like winning from the very start.

Will she recover from this, or will the loss of confidence finish her?

They'll almost certainly give her a rematch unless she doesn't want it personally.

They'd rather have the belt on her and then play it off as a bad day in the office if they can :p

Well the better person won on the night. Ronda seemed so angry almost like a drunk guy trying to beat up a boxer!

I dont know why everyone wants the "hype train" to be over! Hype is good for the sport and she's only lost once! Even Holy couldnt belive what she had just done in that win!

From what we saw in the fight I can't see her having even the slightest hope of winning in a rematch. It's not as though it was a close match or she only lost through being unlucky, Holm made her look like a rank amateur from start to finish.

If she agrees to a rematch any time soon her career is over.

She did look totally out classed.

Super impressive from Holm - so relaxed during the fight - hands nice and high and open etc.

Ronda knew from about 90 seconds she was in trouble - took a few big shots and just started running after Holm. I was really impressed by Holm's calmness, striking and cardio. Great fight, great win.

I've no great issues with Ronda but you do get the feeling that the whole womens UFC is built on her in terms of marketing etc (she on the new UFC game cover etc)

A rematch immediately makes no sense to me - it was a convincing win, why should she get a shot immediately back at Holm. If she looses again, 2 loses in a row, where does that leave her? She suggested previously she had a maximum of 4 or 5 fights left so I can't see a rematch straight away.

Rousey got convincingly trounced in that fight, but her tactics were awful. Her stand-up is poor yet she tried to go toe-to-toe with a very accomplished striker. I've no idea what her camp were thinking in the lead-up to this fight, I can only think that Ronda believes she is a better striker than she really is and genuinely thought she could stand and trade with Holm.

Had she done the sensible thing and not cared about entertaining the fans and gone straight for the double leg takedown like GSP always used to, I think she probably could have tired out Holm to the point where her stand-up was less effective. Yes Rousey got beaten badly, but she really didn't have the right game plan going into the fight.

She did try to take her down, and it failed. I'm sure there are some things she can switch up strategically for the rematch, but that was her full striking ability right there for everyone to see.

Hopefully Ronda will focus more on her training - how many film / tv / radio / book signing things has she done in the last 6 months? Seems to me that she hasn't been putting the time in at the gym like she should.

She was totally dominated on the night, but lets not look past the fact that she has destroyed everybody else she has faced. I'm not sure she is a great as people say, but remember that even the greats slip up from time to time, GSP vs Serra, Cain vs JDS, JBJ vs Cocaine, etc.
