What food do you miss? What were you glad returned?

Thanks for the heads-up on Papus Snookums - I'll give them a try!

seabiscuit - Hedgehog crisps are still about although I think you have to head to the Scotland/England border to get them. Found them in Sainsburys in Berwick when I was up there earlier this year.

Don't get me wrong it's not as good as what you can get by the seaside but it's the best I've had up here.

Doubt many of you are young enough but I miss Turkey twizzlers used to love those back in school.

I thank you both very much right now! I shall be going to find them soon, they used to be everywhere, then all of a sudden I could never find them.

Sure they were Amercian but I'll eat them regardless.

Cadburys been making chocolate covered pretzels for years.

Blue Dragon Crab and Green Ginger noodles (well it's got to be nicer than a beef pot noodle after 40 years (not me after 40 years, keep reding the forum))
Ice Cream flavour Chewits
I'm sure fish/seafood sticks used to be sweeter, and have more flavour to them, even if it was artificial?
Hedgehog crisps.

I've never had these I don't think, but as someone else has said they're still around I will go on a hunt!

Wispa Bite. A wispa gold but with biscuit pieces in it too.
Quite miss a drink we used to get, white grape and cranberry used to be made by ocean spray. Not seen it for years.

Brannighans Beef & Mustard Crisps.

You can still get them,Farmfoods sell them in multipacks but theyre nowhere near as nice as they use to be back in the 90s.

90s - Extra thick cut,Lots of flavour,Proper paper packet.

today - Not so thick,Not so much flavour - plastic & smaller packet.

Yeah she always gets a tub when she goes to the cinema, outrageously priced but it's a treat once in a blue moon so why not. :)

Sounds like you and I have similar taste buds, I bloody love anything cinnamon or maple syrup. :D Cinnamon buns are probably my go to treat of choice these days, or a stack of maple syrup drench American style pancakes. Ooof.

I also miss wernli biscuits from my time i lived in switzerland, i once found them in tk maxx but not seen them since

Does anyone remember Phileas Fogg Mignons Morceaux?
Used to eat them all the time, but they have been off the shelf for a while.

Old Jamaica chocolate. Used to rely on this as a stock christmas gift for my dad. That and Meltis Newberry Fruits. Mind you, he has diabetes now so probably a good thing.

According to the internet, Newberry Fruits appear to have made a comeback, so will probably chance it anyway.

I tell you what i miss, I miss being able to eat things without looking at the labels as to whats in it etc (sugar and so on)

There are so many treats that still exist on our shelves yet i do no buy for fear of dying ( i have high cholesterol through my genes)

Just things like pop tarts for example (sprung in to my mind first) lol, they were always so good but i just cant bring myself to eating one

Cheesecake happens to be another mmmmmmm
