Yeah I bugged three in store and online basically just got back we don't support it yet. Went ahead and updated anyway it seems fine with data now so fingers crossed it is.
Well its blocked again, works for a few minutes after restarting phone and then blocked. Rang support who said will be sorted in 3 days, I have no faith it will be but we will see. Quite like some changes in W10 some apps seem to take a little longer to open but I like how I can change the scaling of the UI right down to fit so much more on screen.
It's working quite well on my 830 too, reasonable snappy compared to previous builds, that scaling does work quite well, I changed mine from the default 200% to 175% and it was like taking my screen from it's 720p actual resolution to a 1080p screen
One strange thing I noticed with it though, checking for updates after changing it down I had 21 store updates, after changing it back up to 200% I again had 21 store updates, I would have thought the scaling was just automatic, you even have to do a reboot after making the change, it just surprised me...
Unless you are already over your limit for tethering that just makes no sense at all. No idea what's is up with that.
I don't any tethering limit. The only thing I can think is it's something like when it checks for updates that three think it's a PC.
I had that problem a few months ago. Told the same and it was working again in just under 48 hours

If you are on the Three network and take the phone to a feel at home country, Three thinks a Windows 10 mobile is tethering and refuses to roam.
Tried a couple of different browsers from the store, same problem. Tethering was switched off.
I can tether OK in the UK as I'm still on the One plan.

Thanks for heads up, off to Aus in January hopefully will be sorted by then but Ill remember to take my 920 on 8.1 just incase.
As for my current problem seems fine and is fixed. Three even txt me today to tell me its been sorted.
One thing that annoys me is I like skype in my messages app but my lock screen is basically now constantly at 99+ messages as I used skype a lot. So its likely Ill miss a txt as I cant glance and see unread txts seperate from skypes.

I could not get this latest update to work on my 640 so had to use the software to reinstall 8.1.
How far is a proper release away ish? Cannot decide if I can be bothered with any more updates. Thought it was bricked at first!

It's basically out, RTM is done and it'll be on the 950 when it's released in a few days, however depends on phone and courier to how soon you'll see it. At a complete guess probably late Jan, as long ad you aren't on one of the rubbish carriers.

Oh I am on a small carrier, Talk Mobile, my Lumia 640 is £7.99 a month though. Cannot complain really, they've been great.

Couple of things...
1, Anyone else have flaky GPS? Latest build, and sometimes Here maps (and other gps bases apps) freeze for upwards of 5 minutes, the seem to be struggling to ge a GPS signal, but are not saying so!
2, my screen seems to momentarily go black, like it's switching off, while I'm browsing, or tweeting or Instagramming etc... It's quick 'off' then 'on' but it's a bit annoying!
3, how do you 'rescale' the Ui? Just interested, probly never do it, just curious!

I've an 830 just like you.
1. Not used GPS much but got a lock reasonably quickly in Maps a moment ago.
2. I have this too, it's irritating. I've seen a few people in the WPC forum have this issue with the 830, it never did it on 8.1 so I'm hoping it will be fixed in a future build.
3. Settings > System > Display and then change the size of text from our default of 200% to 175%, it will want a reboot. Afterwards you will have updates in the store, I have 21, every time you alter the text size it has loads of updates in the store. Good thing though is 5 toggles in the notification centre and double height multitasking and things obviously just fit more on screen, although not the start screen. My eyes are not so good so keep it on 200%...
