Assassin's Creed: Syndicate - NVIDIA GameWorks

Got it installed, just 359.00 to get installed, the game auto detected my 'best settings' as 5K DSR @ medium settings :p

The 980ti is faster in single card but crossfire is killing everything there until the VRAM usage goes too high. The game uses more than 4GB in ultra mode due to the default FXAA + MSAA setting.

The basic 980 is faster than an Fury x let alone the Ti, Nvidia scaling is terrible look at the difference going from there single to dual scores and look at AMD's. Yay for the win.... Let me check outside quickly, There must be a blue moon :D

I was just about too say look what happened at 4k. That answer to the is 4 gb's enough question is, No. At least not for more than 2 cards as there not playable for 2 cards even with enough ram as the Ti results show.

Well, my optimal settings for 1440 is ultra pre-set, then knock PCSS+ down to PCSS, HBAO+Ultra down to HBAO+ and use TXAA2X+FXAA, nets me a pretty constant 70fps and still looks lovely.

Very impressed with the game so far.

What's your card m8? I've done the same, just using TXAA though

Noticed that they haven't got the 390/X in those benchs which could have made a significant impact in the VRAM limited settings. The've only used 4gb AMD cards.

Don't know why they insist on using the older 290 cards even now where we clearly need to be shown cards from both sides not restricted by their VRAM.
Would be interesting to see what a crossfire 390 setup could do at the highest setting in 4K.

I'm enjoying this so far. Shame no crossfire yet, it needs it!

I am too. This is also the first game I have ever had to lower settings on my system which is a bit of a shocker really. It does look fantastic though but not sure it looks that good for the demand but it is on the Anvil next engine and a souped up version at that and was first used for Prince of Persia.

Maybe time to invest in modern engines that are not so demanding!

Yes totally agree. Devs are getting lazy IMHO. This combined with the FO4 issues (This too should have been on a new engine....What the **** were they actually doing for the 6 years this took to develop?????) leads me to believe that some companies and publishers really will let out poor quality bugged versions of games because we let them. They can always be patched right!!

:(
