Retro Gamers - What was your very first game??

My dad got hold of a Amstrad CPC 464 in the 90s when someone was getting rid of it. I was playing Head over Heels and good old Animal, Vegetable or Mineral on in in the mid 90s. Also remember playing the Master System II around the same time, sneaking into my brother room to play mortal kombat ready to pull the game out and hit restart to load up Alex the Kidd when my mum came up the stairs.

I think it would have been this Radofin TV plug in, I remember having a lot of fun with it. You could hold down the buttons for 2 games and confuse the logic of the system and have the top half be the target practice game and the bottom hockey.

Probably chuckie egg on the zx81. It was my uncle's machine. My Dad was so impressed with this home computer gubbins that he bought a Dragon 32 "Because it's got a better keyboard".
It took about 5 years to persuade him it was rubbish, he then got a BBC master which was a superb piece of kit (especially with the disk drive!)

First would have been a ping pong game on a grandstand system on dispaly in Woolworths, couldn't actually afford to buy one.
First one that I owned would have been Meteoroids on the ZX Spectrum.

This. Specifically, the Super Star Trek version in the 101 BASIC Games book. Played it on a Video Genie (a Tandy TRS-80 clone of sorts).

Incidentally, the book has an error in the code for SST - my copy still has the pencilled-in correction that my dad made :D

Hard to remember exactly.

It would have been a budget C64 game. Probably one of White Viper, video meanies, Speed King, or something.

Would be pong in the late 70's. Wasn't on a system, was its own dedicated plug in unit.

As far as system based games go it would have been combat on a Atari 2600, late 70's again.

I'm not really sure. I did play Pac-Man on my cousins Atari console around 1982, he also had Pitfall, that game was so addictive at the time.

I had the Astro Wars table top game, also the Tomytronic 3D - 'Sky Attack' version.

I had one of those :D

MY earliest memory was pong on an Atari.

Awesome, remember a mate having similar one, there was a motorcycle stunt game that was practically impossible.

The Astro wars mini arcade...I got one in the loft at my mums.

Space invaders on an atari 2600. There was one version where they were invisible.
