Has anyone heard of a release date for the DisplayPort 1.2a to HDMI 2.0 adapter?

I hope they learn from this mentality and conduct themselves better if they have a future.

Fixed :p

AMD constantly mislead and get away with it time and time again, they were falsely promising these adapters when I was stupid enough to buy a R295X2 and again 6 months ago with the Fury X release.

£75 sounds a tad expensive, although it is what I paid for my active dp-to-Dual-Link-DVI adaptor that didn't really work properly. Please don't tell me these adaptors need to be powered via USB too?

So the option for HDMI 2.0 is a 980Ti for ~£500 or a Fury X + adaptor for ~£584?
Damn you Nvidia and the way you treat your customers! Be more like AMD who care about their customers! :D

AMD don't make the things.

TwsT: it was somewhere in the Fury X thread I believe. Or the Nano.

And that is exactly the problem, they don't designed their cards to support HDMI2 and don't make adapters themselves so they fail to support users that want that feature.

£75 for an adapter? And I thought paying £20 for the active mDP > DVI-D adapter to use eyefinity on my 7970 was expensive...

I suppose it's new technology, but still.

maybe u can crowd fund twst a trip to china....

No need we have a man who specialises in sourcing things from china in germany. I messaged him last night after many forum searches for information

A lack on HDMI 2.0 was a deciding factor (among many) that influenced my latest GFX card purchase, up until my current card the last new NVidia product I brought was a GeForce 5200 but after many years of AMD (ATI) I decided to switch back.
Very happy TBF and knowing that I can effectively discount £75 for the HDMI 2.0 has made me even happier, c’mon AMD I can’t be the only disillusioned punter.

Should have debut on the pcb in the labs summer 2014.

Never thought I'd see the day AMD could make Nvidia's ultra end of the market look tremendous vfm.:p

Club3D have been saying soon/delayed since around mid August, latest seems to be 'hopefully by Christmas' :(

CAC-1070 = DP to HDMI 2.0
CAC-1170 = mDP to HDMI 2.0

While looking up the above did also find places supposedly selling 4K@60Hz adapters, one at $40 the other at $50.

Don't forget to add the free game as well to the list of 'pro's to the ti .But sometimes I wonder how much the titan x price has 'made' the ti
