I met someone today who swore that the greens were the best monopoly properties. I immediately felt sick and worked hard to resist the urge to punch them in the face. Thanks god I did (mega strong FYI).

The only acceptable answers are "orange", "red" or "lul brown". Does anyone disagree?

(p.s. yes I'm aware there is a board games forum, I have posted in it very recently, but this thread is G.D. material..... well, barely).

Orange and red. Great sets! The pinks aren't bad either. Green are definitely the worst, I'd rather have the utilities.

disagree - there aren't three acceptable answers... there is one: orange

Correct. I believe it has been statistically proven that the orange properties are the most likely to be landed on because the square you are most likely to land on is jail, and they are around 7 spaces (I forget exactly how many) from jail which is the most likely dice role.

Wow, i kinda of agree with your friend, greens are the best, Still get so much when you've got hotels on them, there is three of them and even with a few houses still take enough to ruin someone elses game. I tend to take green and pink so i've got houses/hotels on 2 opposite sides or maybe green and yellow to dominate a corner.

Yellow Green are the best ever!

Anyone saying otherwise is just a LulWot!

Then, and only then.. do you go Pink/Red.

Orange and reds.

If nothing they're a frequent and steady income to attack/defend the Navy Blue corner.

Green and Yellow players usually come out 2nd to the winner of this battle ^.

The game available on android even states this in tutorial mode.

I'd only consider greens if I was playing with 4+ people, and dare I say it either utilities or a few stations for regular small income. The cost of getting 3 houses on them for a good income is 1800, which is more than hotels on oranges. Early game if I get them as a set they stay unbuilt for double rent, but usually end up trading them for another set (sometimes at a loss) just so I can stick hotels on a cheaper side while my opponent can't afford to develop them.

I usually go after the light blue properties. Cheap, but with hotels on they sting the pocket.

Orange are the best though, true enough. Problem is, everyone knows it.
