Would you trust a site that did this?

1-2-3 reg did that to me when I set up a domain name / email account a few weeks ago.
Massively complicated password requirements, then they go ond send me a confirmation email with the password in plain text.
****ing muppets!

Plenty of places send them in the original registration email, not great but I don't see the difference.

This annoys the hell out of me.

And as long as they've made a temporary password, ie that's not your original password. I don't see the issue.
Had to do similar before when reset password hasn't worked. They've emailed me a temporary password, login and change it.

I do my best to use keepass to get me a random password for any entries I add, but I must confess I have been a bit lazy about changing retrospective passwords :D

Apparently it would take 157 Billion years to crack my standard password... and 35 sextillion (Apparently that's a word) to crack my password I use for secure stuff...

I really hate it when sites send my passwords back in plain text (this is why I use different passwords :) )
