When do you put up your xmas decorations?

Some neighbour over the road has there decorations up now??? :eek:

What is wrong with people? :rolleyes:

We do one week before and about 10 days after.

What is your Christmas decoration time?
 
They start to appear around the neighbourhood here from the 1st of December, we'd usually do it about 10-12 days before and take em down within a week after.
 
About a week before crimbo day, take em down about a week later. Xmas day is my birthday so it's not a day i think about much now as i get older.
 
Usually the first weekend in december, but this year, given hiw the dates land, I think we shall probably do it today, busy next weekend, so easier to get it done.
 
If it was left to me, they would never go up, but I dont get a say in the matter.

Tree goes up around the 18th and comes down around the 3rd
 
We'll probably put ours up next weekend, then make sure they're down a couple of days after New Year's day.

My cousin, who lives on his own, has a spare room where he keeps a fully decorated Christmas tree. He simply brings it downstairs during Christmas then puts it back there once the festivities are over!
 
There's a few people putting them up this weekend but I'm usually just the first weekend of December. There's only me in the house anyway so there's not actually much point in bothering :p
