Guys, you need to get back to your driver team the issue of the fluctuating core clocks. It's happening to a lot of folks, various forums screaming about it, and it's not just happening when the fps cap is being reached.

Good news that a fix for fan speeds is on the way, thank god I'm on water now.

Whens the clock bouncing fix driver coming ?

:p

That's what I need.
I'm working on a mod build at the moment and now when I try to go in game to check for bugs it's running at 20 odd fps.

I've tried it every possible way, With no cap, And also with a 60hz, 100 and 200 limit and nothing changes it.

I am only seeing amd users reporting this issue shanks, not affecting any nvidia users so more than likely an issue with amd or perhaps it could be a problem with frostbite engine that only affects amd cards....

Reading that if you have higher than medium for the lighting quality, you then get black textures instead of what I am getting

Please report the Core Clock fluctuation issue using the following form. Please include reproduction examples so we can reproduce the issue. Include details of games that the issue occurs on. Include details like What Radeon Settings you are using FRTC, FreeSync, Frame Pacing etc. What causes it and what fixes it. We've had very few bug reports about this issue and of course we want to fix it. Don't reply to me here, leave a report here.

Agreed.

To be clear to the naysayers it doesn't happen in all games. Just seems buggy in some that were running fine prior to the Crimson set. Roll back to the previous CCC drivers and everything is back to normal.

I've had issues with the following titles:
Project Cars
Stalker series

Possibly Dying Light as well but didn't test it extensively.

Done a few last week.

Also, update for the FO4 and SWBF crossfire profiles Matt/Joe, I take it your silence on that question means you go nothing at the moment.

I run full ultra and I have seen the ice map glitch.. 100% sure it's dice that needs to fix this.

Same here - on a Fury - only real issue I've spotted so far. Only real gripe with the new drivers, other than 'CCC lite' needs to go and that and having to use Windows to set monitor placement and resolution etc. Still feel that all needs to be in the one place - in the new driver app.

Oh and it would also be nice if the new app remembered it's window size and placement. AMD made a big thing about it being dynamic and resizeable on the PCPer stream, so be nice if it'd remember how you want it to look.

Understand these are just cosmetic issues but they've made such a big deal about the look and feel that this just distracts from the hard work that has been done.

I'm writting here to the AMD reps.

Are you aware of the 2d (idle) flickering issue occuring when using multi-monitors including one on Display Port?

Here is an example on youtube of the issue.

The issue has been reported on your own community forums MANY times. This has been going since the Windows 10 driver and up, so all the drivers above 15.7. I have tried everything to make it work like it used to before. 15.6 is fine.

(AND I SKIP SOME)

Those are all the issue that cost me a lot of money and times accross all the years. This including the purchase of new monitors and more.

Do you not realize how the flickering issue has been going for 6 MONTHS, 6 FREAKIN MONTHS and you have like 10 threads open of the AMD forums. Do you not realize how much time people has spent trying to find a workaround or filling bug report that you ignore.

Do you not realize that we are freakin tired of you

Do you not realize that you only have 18% market share and don't expect me to increase that number next generation.

I am very tired of AMD and them neglcting their customers. This is the last time I'm being neglected like this.

Yes, please fix. I have reported in this thread and by a bug report on 24-Nov-15, as stated above there are numerous posts over numerous support boards.

We need traction on this now, not continued silence.
