Looks like things are unfolding now, 20 victims so far apparently.. RIP :(

I guess it's just going to go on and on and on.

Kinda feel sorry for Obama, I bet he's lost count of the amount of times he's had to go on TV in frustration, and read the same speech over and over again, to go back to congress with an attempt to change things, only to bump into endless opposition and NRA lunacy.

Sounds very very serious indeed:

It is still a "very active scene" and police are trying to secure the building, said a spokeswoman from the San Bernardino Police Department.
There may be up to three gunmen she said, and the shooters were heavily armed and possibly wearing body armour.

It has become "routine", but I doubt any significant change will happen, it's too ingrained into their culture.

There'll be a tipping point eventually. The big question is when and how bad does it have to get before that happens.

RIP.

There will never be a tipping point for banning guns in America, you'd have more luck banning tea in the UK

This I'm afraid. I'm very lucky to live in a totally liberal city over here. Been here 11 years and have literally never seen a gun apart from on a cops belt.

Unfortunately, half the country will never agree to any kind of gun control, and it will take something monumental to even get a worthwhile discussion going in D.C.
