They are a pretty old unit, i had one at least 6 years ago. Very high quality psu at the time, though iirc mine had several pcie connections.It must be old as I can't find it. If it's some dated 5 year old relic with only one Pcie power then no, I personally wouldn't use it.
Iv'e sorted it...I found a second 6 pin pci-e connector in Enermax box connected it to the psu and then fitted both of them to a dual 6 pin to 1 x 8 pin adaptor that came with the card...
Then I used a 2 x molex to 1 x 8 pin and connected the other 8 pin to the 980 ti
