Best Screenwash?

Because water doesn't clean the screen properly, there is no detergent in it, plus putting in hard water in, your going to get limescale build up and clog the tubes, sprinklers etc over time, calgon won't come in handy either then.

Never seem to have issues with cleaning or freezing, however interesting point about the Hard Water...although does Screenwash have an additive in for this this?

Got 25 litres of TripleQX concentrate for about £8 a while ago, plus a free 5 litre one time.. So will be using that for a very long time!

I grab Autoglym ultimate when it's on 3 for 2 at Halfords, ends up around £7 for 15 litres and does a good job. Also doesn't stink of alcohol when you spray it.

Bought the Halfords Citrus stuff which is good down to -30 deg apparently. Filled up wash reservoir and drove it an hour or so later. Gave the windscreen a few squirts during the journey and thought 'Hmmm...must remember to clean the windscreen and wiper blades' as it was very smeary.

Washed car the next day and cleaned the windscreen after I dried it off and also cleaned the wiper blades. Drove the car 15 mins later in the rain. I used the wipers a few times and the screen was smear free. Then gave the screen a blast with the screenwash and *BooM* smears everywhere again. :(

I can only conclude the Halfords -30 deg stuff is causing the smearing. Won't be buying that again. ;)

Share! Because I can never find the damn stuff! Do you mean the W5 stuf with the bulb on top of the bottle?

Where's the cheapest for the VAG stuff? Dealers?

Don't bother with those little ultra concentrated W5 bottles, they aren't great TBA. Shame as I bought 5 of them when they were selling them off cheap :p

Generic blue stuff has always done the job for me. About 1:4 in the winter and 1:8 in the summer
