Jimmy Hill: Former Match of the Day presenter dies aged 87

As chairman of the Professional Footballers' Association, he led the campaign for the scrapping of maximum wages for professional footballers.
The former Match of the Day presenter made more than 600 appearances on the programme. Jimmy was suffering from Alzheimer's disease

The football pundits of today do not seem to have much in the way of personalities the like Jimmy Hill had, but that may just be me not being a great fan of football. RIP.

As of now, I am glad Jimmy Hill died today, so we are discussing this man, and not another 87 year old who died today also.
Everyone who speaks about Jimmy Hill speaks of the wonderful modernisation he brought to the game, the advancement of the game as a spectator sport, and the things he did for fans and players alike.
He is basically the opposite of Septic Bladder in what he has managed for the game.
Hopefully he had a peaceful end to an awful illness.
