*** The Official Fifa 16 Thread ***

Christ the bottom really has fallen out of the market - if this downwards trend continues much further I should be able to build a pretty amazing team.
 
I just don't know when to quit.

Back on it, but this time I didn't bother tinkering with the tactics. Left it all default and boom.... winning games again.

Seems post patch doesn't like build up play the same.

Packed Neymar this morning and sold for a tidy amount, built myself a second BPL squad of beasts. Chuffed with them both.

Proper mental illness with FIFA this year lol I am starting to play more Fallout and Need For Speed again. Just Cause 3 at xmas.

got promoted into div 4 yesterday online, quite happy with that. had 1 game to spare. Got Deepay and made him LF and he's really good. Strangely despite having a few better ranked forwards im having more success with Giroud or Bony in the center of LF Deepay and RF Costa. Both some to compliment him well and the finishing in the box from giroud is ace.
My top goal scorer is strangely schweinsteiger. He scores a lot of free kicks and the odd screamer.
Had a look at the market yesterday and it does look like i can get David De Gea soon (hes dropped to around 40k) which i'll be happy with, then just need rooney for the full united squad. Sergio Ramos is another one who has shot down in value making him and Varanne a good option in central defence.

in other news i played against someone yesterday who seemed to be obsessed with rushing his keeper out, bony chipped him 4 times :)

There's a bug that makes keepers do that at wrong times, but it's random. Gutted for them if it happened 4 times which I doubt. lol

I liked Bony when i had a BPL side , he ended up pushing Diego Costa out my team , his strength was amazing and he scored header after header with his power header trait !
 
So while I wait for TOTY to drop I've got 2.2 million coins sitting around doing nothing - I've already specced out the team I want and I've got the coins for it, however I honestly think the market is going to trend down further and there is scope for more coins to be made as I do a draft a day.

However - I'm guessing that at this point I should really look into this trading lark - does anybody have any suggestions for playing the market at this point, or is it far too risky given the current volatility?

doubt it was the bug, literally you played the ball forward and if you were anywhere near his box with a one on one with a defender he kept bringing the keeper out. can only assume after my first goal he just though screw this ill mess about. That or he was not aware he was pressing triangle.

I play the market a lot , i actually trade more than i play , don't ask me why but it is the part of the game that grabs me.

It is very tricky just now with the market falling so much so i have been mostly trading IF cards as they are always limited supply. When these card rushes come there is several ways to do it with normal cards, you can buy cards and try for insta-profit by listing for 1 hr straight away at small profits and keep relisting until they sell.

The other thing is if good cards plummet during happy hours etc is i buy them and sit on them for a few days until it recovers , i find listing on a friday night / sunday the best. Be aware though as it's christmas time EA will be spamming us with pack offers.

There will be plenty better traders than me but i bought the superdeluxe edition and bought 12k fifa points at the very start of the game , the only "good" card i have had all year is Hazard who i sold for 160k approx

This is my current squad so it shows you trading can be done, im pretty busy in IRL so am by no means a "hardcore trader" who puts lots of hours in alll the time (i trade while watching a movie with family etc) and as i say there will be plenty people who make waaaaay more than i ever could:

That team is ridonky donk. I've spent significantly more dollar than I'd like to on this game and I still only have ~500k's worth of players.

I'm xbox one mate yeah although i havn't played fifa matches for a good few days , my son does have a play on my side as well though so it may have been him.

Yeah , i spent a few hundred on fifa 15 and i am probably better off on this one , i gave up trading last year when the price ranges got introduced and when the web app was stopped. I trade on the app while i do other things , not when sitting on the xbox.
