What are you doing on Xmas eve?

Some of you are probably past it, personally I haven't been out on Xmas eve - and the drinky scene - for many many years but I quite fancy it this year. Hope it ends well and doesn't get too messy, I don't think I will be doing it again, a somewhat fall back to my teenage years, is this acceptable?

Normally end up at the local where I grew up for a few with some old friends, no idea who's around this year though so not sure what the plan is.

Working 08:00 - 16:00, picking up a few last minute bits and then having an evening in with the better half and a Papa John's. Would rather be out getting **** faced if I'm honest.

Working for the morning, picking up a few vegetables from one of the the local farmers at around 2pm and then a bit of sleep/light gaming before the entire family shows up in the evening.

Going to spend the afternoon/evening whipping the kids up into a complete frenzy of excitement, which i will then proceed to regret when they wont go to sleep !!
