SILENCE!
Sweeping 2015 quietly under the carpet, what are you looking forward to in 2016?

For me:
-Pro bike racing on TV! Paris Roubaix, Tour de France and la Vuelta are my three favourites and I'll try to get in some of the Giro this year too;
-Endurance racing. The World Endurance Championship looks like it's going to be another awesome year and I'm going to Le Mans;
-THE RIO OLYMPICS!
-World triathlon series;
-I'm potentially getting my knee fixed which means I'll be able to run and ride again;
-Being able to finally manage my back pain - I think this is going to make a massive difference to my quality of life, coupled with...
-I've worked out the cause of my insomnia. I'm looking forward to SLEEPING again :p;
-New shonky old car on its way;
-Maybe I'll actually get my kitchen built?!

- Playing a lot more guitar and learning more music theory.
- Having a bit more time on my hands.
- Studying a bit more for work purposes.
- Not living like a nomad like I have been in 2015.

Baby due in May so that's the most important of course. Also, Getting rid of the wet room and having a proper cubical fitted, just paid for it today so should be fitted in a few weeks and tech wise, Zen and the new line up of GPUs

Other than that, getting the garden sorted and all sorts of other house related stuff

I also want a new job but no idea where to start

My mom's 60th.

My next promotion ;)

Can't think of anything else really.

losing a ton of blubber (dont care about end weight)
Getting my blue and brown belt in judo.
getting a promotion.

Learning how to move. (ido portal style.)

having fun with my family.

Being approved as a foster carer. My assessment is all done, I just have to wait for the panel to approve me in February. :)

Found out on Christmas Eve that I'm being promoted for my next trip, going up a step in rank. The 10% pay rise is nice, but I'm more pleased about the recognition from the company too. :)

New baby to arrive in March
New ROG swift monitor to arrive in two days (hey that counts!)
I'm pretty sure that after March I won't have time for anything.

Getting married in July.
Changing from rental to buying our first home (preferably before July).
Starting studying for my CCIE.
Competing in the 2016 1/12 scale on-road European Championship.

euro 2016

moving back into my flat and living on my own again (though i'm not looking forward to breaking the news to my tenants as they're really sweet...will give them loads of notice though)

  • Hitting 40....I lie, not looking forward to that at all.
  • Another tattoo for my left arm....hanging on to my youth.
  • Getting a new kitchen fitted....maybe I am enjoying being old.
  • Taking some time off work and holidaying with the family.
  • Any new projects that keep me busy and entertained.

Hopefully a new career and the ability to sit here this time next year feeling like I finally did something with my life.
