New Years EVE- What will you be doing?

I work a bog standard Mon-Fri office job. We got let out early today, at 2PM. So really I should be living the dream shouldn't I?

But no, couldn't find anyone to go out with or have anyone round my place.

I'm working my 3rd night shift on board my platform offshore in the North Sea. I'll be keeping that oil and gas flowing. Keep warm, have a great night and a happy New Year to all :D
 
I've been blown out by everyone so I'm going to be on here annoying you lot :p

Making some flatbreads for dinner, going to grill some meat and veggies to stuff in them.
 
First new year eve I've stopped in on my own for at least 10 years.

Everyone is either staying in with their partners or just not coming out due to other commitments.

So I plan on stuffing my face on takeaways and drinking loads of red bull clones. Who knows I may get an invite before 12. :)
 
First NYE I have stopped in on my own ever!

Would have been going out to a vinyl only dance/trance night with a couple of mates but was offered work tomrorow for triple time on call so saving my liver and kidneys and some more money for Skiing in 3 weeks.

Saturday and Sunday will actually feel great for once - get some clothes shopping done with xmas money (vouchers for House of Fraser) then climbing on Sunday

Tonight I have a decent Rib eye Steak out. Will have a bath and watch a film. Might even eat the steak in the bath whilst watching a film :)
 
NYE nights out are generally big overpriced disappointment so this year we finally decided between us that we're going to be anti social and hole up at my friend's house for the night with Chinese food, whisky and a PS4.
 
well, I was going to go see Confused (from this very forum) but as seen as i was up at 2am(ish) this morning and i was falling asleep on the train home, I am going to eat then go to bed =(
 
So far today, fixed a server at an audi dealership, swapped out a hard drive in an emc symmetrix and helped a nice lady whose car someone hit in tesco and then drove off and now opening a bottle of old perculiar.
 
I'm with the Mrs in Sydney so we had our new year 7 hours ago. Went on a cruise next to the Sydney bridge and watched the fireworks from there. Excellent evening!
Flying back to Singapore this afternoon.
 
Sitting on my own with my boys in bed. Glass of red wine and either a new book from Xmas or a bit of CoD then an early night.

My little boy has a broken collar bone, so no partying for Gilly.

Awful when the kids get hurt...I remember a crash and burn riding bikes with daughter...

Trying to not seem to concerned while frantic inside is an odd feeling ...

Kids pickup on your fear...


Give him a high 5 off easy :)
