Turns out my eldest whose 8 has more of a social life then I do. She's off to ring in the new year with her nana and cousin. It's just me and the hubs and two bottles of Buck's Fizz watching stuff on tv, playing board games and checking in here occasionally.

same here towns just full of young chavs and drunks so just ordered chinese for me and wife then ill play some xbox while she watches downton then about half eleven we will see the new year in together

The last time I spent New Years on here was 1999 as we were all waiting for the world to end.

It all went well seeing as we were facing annihilation from malfunctioning toasters and being unable to record our last moments of said toaster Armageddon as the timers on our VCRs thought it was 2000 years in the past.
