shelvey is playing great. infact newcastle are playing great. should have scored plenty more ! ball was bouncing round the west ham box like a pinball for a good while

shelvey did just randomly and totally unnecessarly shoulder barge valencia in the face off the ball though. NFL style. :p very lucky no official spotted it
 
Ref was right next to it but presumably focusing beyond it in that way that you can completely miss something closer to you and not where your focus is. He should certainly have got a yellow, potentially a red. Ref really should have seen it anyone considering where he was.

That is the problem with Shelvey, rather like Ridgewell, if he's having an influential game and scores a goal you feel like he'll either score an own goal or get a red card to balance it up.

West Ham have been very poor, they have also managed this year to come back from poor performances and be a different team in the second half so will see how they do. West Ham certainly helping make it easy in the first half, at somewhere near their best I can see them getting back in to the game.
 
Jelavic scoring is a sign of the apocalypse or something, West Ham early goal is what they needed really. Everton taking the lead, bit unfortunate for Terry, he got the touch away from goal but went in off his other leg.

WOW, Mirallas, great finish. 2-0. Baines assisting both goals, looking better with every game. HIm being back to his best will be huge for Everton.

Bournemouth just sneak a penalty into the goal as well, in off the post.
 
Dear lord Jag/Howard between them, though mostly Jagielka, didn't deal with it and drop a stupid goal.

EDIT:- make that 2-2. Took Matic off and Chelsea improved about 7000% instantly. He's absolutely atrocious defensively and not helping at all offensively. Since the change and conceding the second Chelsea have stepped up about 17 gears.
