A week last Friday, I was involved in a RTA. Got hit on the left rear as I was exiting a roundabout, by a Focus feeding into the roundabout, and she's kindly admitted liability - so her Insurance (LV) have been sorting everything out.
Car dropped off on Wednesday, Courtesy Car given and awaiting the fixing to complete around the 26th.
So far so good.
Here's a couple of shots
I just got a call from the garage fixing the issue (arranged by insurance / work colleagues been with them before and nothing nasty about them AFAIK), whilst fixing my car, they found additional damage to the boot area, something about where a spare wheel well is located - they cannot see it being related to the insurance incident as the damage is covered up with a new bumper (never had one done or replaced).
The car in question is a brand new Toyota Aygo (64 plate), new shape, so I've owned it from new about 18 months now. This incident is the first accident and I've never had a bump or crashed it before.
I am awaiting photos from the garage with regards to this damage.
The dealers were Benfields Toyota (Wakefield) - which have recently changed hands to Vantage Motors (or something). The car is still on finance (PCP) for another 18 months.
Anyone had experience with possible accident undeclared from Dealers?
Google isn't really helping me to shift through all the silly compensation claims. I just need more about my rights and how to deal with this without me loosing out - including claiming any additional damages due to the incident and the possible Dealer hiding accident damage on a brand new vehicle.
Edit:
Here's the photo of the damage in the boot, that's covered by the bumper replacement. I can see why the insurance cannot cover that, completely unrelated.
