Very little snow fell here during the night. There was a thin sheet of it on the ground this morning but it has mostly melted now, although I can still see a couple of very small patches of it out the front. Certainly don't envy those of you who've had a lot of it.

Cheating a bit but I left this view behind yesterday, absolutely gutted, one of the best weeks i've spent away, but this view of Mont Blanc will stay with me forever.

Absolutely dumped it down for the first 2 days, Wednesday was like this then another powder day on thursday followed by another 2 beautiful crisp days.

No snow in Brighton.

Seriously? I'm like 10 miles along the coast and we had it. Not a lot we never do, but we had definitely had it, mayble 1/2 an inch or so and almost all gone by lunchtime. That was certainly a surprise wasn't expecting that and it went on most of night, only very light though.

That'll be our snow for the winter done with, then. I fully expect the country to come to a grinding halt with predictions of armageddon as a result.

Wow, looks amazing! I have no interest in skiing, but would love to go somewhere like that. That would be a nice photo if you photoshop out the brightly coloured people .

Yup :S nearly got run down this morning buy someone driving like a lunatic with the smallest of gaps to see through - can understand people getting impatient waiting for the ice to clear but atleast drive sensibly ffs :|

All this talk of snow. I cycle to work and drive a rear wheeled coupe. I'm torn between the joy of snow and the overwhelming desire to avoid ending up as a traffic statistic.
