Z3 died, picked up a Z5 as needed a phone. Sort of sidegrade to tide me over until the Galaxy S7 or Z6 are out.

The last Z3 early last year had a screen fault so was replaced, this one just never turned on this morning and now has a red blinking LED when power is plugged in. That seems to account to a hardware fault.

You'll end up with an iPhone, it will just take you more dead Androids than most to get there.

That's a bit low class. Surly on OCUK people breed their own turkeys and then cook them? It would be a bit scummy to do other wise surly?

Yes, but displayport is useful to drive higher resolutions or daisychain.

I'm not ever going to take it anywhere its heavy. So won't really have any sudden needs for extra cables.

My main reason for purchase is the Mini Diplayport cable is vulnerable its a terrible connector, especially on the angled sides of the SP4.
 
I was out for a shop ride and was going round a lovely long corner down a hill somewhere, hit a pot hole, which steered me off the road and went flying into a tree down the side of a hill, wasn't able to unclip and the back end of the bike hit a tree, was so lucky it wasn't my legs and crushed the rear triangle and wheel.

I didn't know the route like the rest of the guys who had all avoided the pot hole they knew about and didn't tell me about :(

Biachi replaced the frame though so I didn't have to pay for ruining a shop bike. It was still pretty sore for a week or two.

My DisplayPort monitor has both mini and full size DisplayPort inputs, and you can get cables with mini on one end and ffull size the other.

The world needs to standardize PC display technology and DisplayPort seems the best so far. I've got 4 adapters in my work bag I wish I didn't have to have.
