How much is your water bill?

My wife and I in a flat. Thames Water just bumped our monthly price from £40 to £65 a month. Just wondering what others pay relative to us. If it's justified then fine but it's a considerable jump.

EDIT: Please also add how many people live in your house.

£18 PM 3 bed semi, metered, just the wife & myself That said the wshing machine is on nearly everyday !

£77.60 per month for a family of four in a 4 bed detached.
We are not on a meter.
I guess its time to phone up and get one installed by looking at what everyone else is paying.
Thanks for the savings everyone.

Yep its an antiquated view for most that water rates work out cheaper

For most people unless you have more people than rooms in the house a water meter is usually cheaper

I pay £60/quarter so £20/month for 3 of us - the little un has a bath most nights and the washing machine being on every other day!

I also have a marine tank that eats water for top ups and water changes so

It falls from the sky and I still have to pay £30 a quarter. Next time it rains I'm going to open my mouth. Tax that Cameron ! :D

not sure off hand without looking, but it dropped a lot after a water meter was fitted

something like £20 odd a month

Zero now, we get our water from a borehole.
The phone call telling Seven Trent they were no longer needed, ever again was great. :D

2 bed flat on a water meter and get my bills quarterly from South Staffs water, i paid last quarter £34, so thats what about £11.33 a month

£31.15/month unmetered.

It would probably work out cheaper to get a meter but then it's somewhat of a gamble :p.
