ISIL, ISIS, Daesh discussion thread.

Poor poor manoz - doesn't do his homework

Israel, Saudi, US and it's coalition all want the same thing. To conserve the petrodollar. Why do you think we invaded Iraq? Saddam had changed the currency of oil to Euros in 2000 yet a few days after the invasion it was back to the dollar, why do you think we bombed Libya? Gaddafi had made a new currency called the Gold Dinar and wanted to sell oil in that currency (which would have benefited the whole of Africa). Hillary's emails also back this up. Do keep up. Who benefits from all this chaos in the middle east? It's certainly not Islam or the people of Europe. The bankers, weapons contractors and media moguls do however. Iran recently switched to Euros and Russia wants payment in Yuans for its oil and now they are above ISIS in Pentagons list of threats to the west. Why do you think the bbc is fear mongering about Russia? Our media is all zionist controlled, only the gullible believe what they read on daily mail, guardian, bbc et al. Do try some different sources. RT and PressTV for a start.

Why would you reference the UN? They are all talk and no action. They call out Israel for building settlements but Israel keeps stealing land.

I think this is worth watching
even if you believe it is a conspiracy theory video, there are individual segments which explain a lot with Assad and the start of the Saudi-US alliance etc

Let's get one thing stright. Being proud of what you are is NOT bigotry. Anyone that says so is a fool

Believing that sex, "race" or any other unchosen and generally irrelevant biological characteristic defines what a person is, is an irrational prejudice.

Believing that one such group is better than the others and therefore something to be proud of is an irrational prejudice. That is required, since pride requires a belief that whatever a person is proud of is better than the alternatives. It's bizarre to have pride in something you have no choice over and no input into, anyway.

So yes, it's bigotry. It's pretty much the definition of bigotry. It's bigotry on top of bigotry.

So, now that the smallest detail has been flogged to death. How about those bloody swastikas and Nazi salutes by your beloved angry, white and proud sign bearers?

There’s a rise in far right groups because the far left has free reign under the guise of being super nice and tolerant. Everyone in the middle self-censors for fear of having the usual cards crammed in their face.

"I will not tolerate all this tolerance!"

Yeah it's just as ridiculous as it sounds.

It's not. You're confusing matters. I'm proud to be a man, that doesn't mean I think I'm better than a woman. It means I'm just proud of what I am. In this world where it's difficult being whatever you are, it helps to be proud of whatever that may be. That isn't about thinking you're better than anyone, I think instead it just shows you have issues.

Wat??? You walk around feeling proud to be a man, great achievement buddy I bet you couldn't wait to tell your mom and dad when you finally got to be a man after a ruddy hard slog.

As usual the pedantic analysis of words on the internet descends into a meaningless farce.

Of course there is nothing wrong in being proud (ie: taking pride in) something like being a white, british etc

But, when the phrase is being used in a neo-nazi rally, then the inference that can easily be taken on the statement of 'angry, white and proud' is one more of White Supremacy, where the underlying inference is that being white is superior to other races - which there definitely is a problem with that sentiment.

That is what DJ_Jester was talking about, and the people arguing against are just being purposefully obtuse, or that stupid they don't realise words have different meanings in different contexts....

Exactly on point. It's all about context. I think some people don't have any and will take a literal meaning however they want. I think some here also have huge deranged chips on their shoulders. It's quite pathetic.

Robocod already beat me to it, but your post is so removed from logic and reality it might as well be written by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. I'm proud to be a white man, doesn't mean i think of my asian and black co-workers any less (In fact i look upto a few of them due to how much they know). I don't have to debase myself in order to not be a bigot, that's warped liberal propaganda at play here and i refused to told that have to be wracked with white-guilt, i don't subscribe to it and will indeed challenge it where ever i see it.

What are you two on about now?

It's been pointed out Malevolence and Skunkworks (purposefully or idiotically) took entirely the wrong context from what DJ_Jester said and you two are still running with it making conclusions based on things that weren't meant.

They also hi-jacked the union jack, doesn't mean i'll stop using the flag as my desktop wallpaper or my awesome union jack sliver cufflinks (Which were given to me as a birthday present from my chinese girlfriend)

Some people has allowed it to be hi-jacked, a good example is emily thornberry and her misguided tweet about some who had hanged the england flag out there window. In her tiny left-wing brain, england flag = Jack-booted racist. As with her and diane abbott if you're a white male then you need to be wracked with white guilt and give way to every minority without question. Those kind of people need to be made an example of and told they are completely wrong in there world view
