Quantum Break PC requirements

Thought I would post this here too as it just got announced that Quantum Break will come to PC on April the 5th which is the same day as the Xbox One release.

Comes with some very hefty requirements too!

Also if you pre order the digital Xbox One version you get the windows 10 version for free.

"Pre-Order Quantum Break for Xbox One to Receive the Windows 10 Version at No Additional Cost

Xbox wants to empower gamers to play the games they want with the people they want on the devices they want, so Microsoft Studios and Remedy Entertainment will launch Quantum Break on Windows 10 simultaneously with the Xbox One version on April 5, 2016. Anyone who pre-orders the Xbox One digital version of Quantum Break through the Xbox Store, purchases an Xbox One digital token at participating retailers, or pre-orders an Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break bundle, will receive the Windows 10 version of the game downloadable at the Windows Store via redemption code.*"

I personally Can't wait for this and its nice to see its going to be a Direct X 12 game. No doubt the game will be beautiful on PC.

I might pre-order it on Xbox One, get the free PC copy, and sell the Xbox One copy...

Lol yer but one thing I did notice was HBM used far far less than GDDR5 GPUs when AMD sorted it at driver level.

I just watched some X-one gameplay and it looks very gimmicky, maybe too much, Visuals seems dull too, Almost blurry.

If your going to buy it for the PC version you probably don't want the XBox One version.

I bet a million quid the XBox One version is more expensive.

Lol at those recommended specs.

If I were being cynical I'd say MS are trying to make it as unappealing as possible to those who are trying to decide whether to get the console or PC version.

Reading those specs is going to put a lot of people off going down the PC route.

why should it? If it has high graphical fidelity and decent frame rates then why not utilize high end hardware that people have in their rigs already.

ALthough that spec list could be for 4K, only remedy can answer that.

why did they have to make it win10 exclusive ? it's stupid, but thats microsoft for you, at least make a game that will utilize DX12 features and make it exclusive, dont do a crappy port and lock it on your stupid OS
this game wont have anything to do with DX12, it's just about windows 10, the never ending idiocy of microsoft, taking stuff hostage for you to upgrade to their crappy OS, even if it's the most perfect OS ever released, ppl do not like to be forced to do stuff

Its called the FX-9999, it is clocked at 7014MHz, draws 600W, comes bundled with a phase change cooler, costs £1800, and is just about on-par with an i7 4790.
