Disappearing earphones

So...it all started about 2 months ago, I lost my £50 senheiser earphones randomly. And then I lost my mums iPhone earphones 3 weeks later. Then I bought £6 Sony's off eBay and lost them after 4 days.
Then..I lost my gfs unwanted iPhone earphones as well after a week.
9/11 was an inside job and so was this...
Good suspicion illuminati had something to do with this < confirmed.
I used to never lose anything.... The truth is out there....

How can you lose them? Just leave them attached to the device you're using? But then again, you'd probably lose that too, so I don't know.

When I've finished using my earphones, I put them in a drawer directly beneath my monitor. Day in day out. I.e. store them in the same place and job's a good 'un.
