....and someone making money out of it.

And not everyone would be eaten away by the death of someone in the family. They are now kinda famous for example.

I have no view really as nobody knows although I have worked with a specialist in body language who during the first early interviews of the couple determined they were lets just say not innocent. However, even they didn't know for sure of course

Bang on. Add to that getting away with child neglect, abusing their position for media attention, ensuring that other parents' plights get put further down the queue when their kids go missing*, lying to everyone and just being dishonest scumbags of the highest order.

Yes they lost a child which no parent should have to endure but that doesn't excuse their blatant dishonesty and lies. If they just came clean and said "we ****ed up" maybe anyone with half a brain wouldn't see them in such a negative light.






*A couple of years ago it was all quiet on the Maddie front, then one day all over the redtops was an article about a young kid going missing and BANG, just out of nowhere, the very next day, the McCanns were all over the front page again and this other story was swept under the rug. That's no coincidence and reason alone for them needing a good smack.

They didn't get away with child neglect because what they did wouldn't be classed as 'neglect' in this Country let alone in Portugal.
Neglect has to be repeated over & over and not just 'they did it five nights in a row'.
What they did was stupid.
 
Indeed, but what is wrong in a court of law, and what is morally wrong, and additionally idiotic as seen by the public are two different things. They may not have been guilty of neglect but they most certainly were neglectful.

-edit I fear we are covering the same ground as we did the last time Kate McCann reared her head to speak about her missing/dead daughter.

Absolutely.
Either people think they are guilty of 'Neglect' or some think they are the greatest criminals ever by murdering their daughter but keep talking about it every 3 months.
 
Guys, instead of typing the same thing over and over and over and bumping this dull thread with the same differing opinions why not go back somewhere in the thread and read the same things over and over again. Nod your head when you agree with someone, rage inside when you don't. It will save wear on your keyboard. Get back to this post and then repeat ad nauseum.

Operation Grange I strongly believe was set up to ensure the McCanns won their case against the Portuguese detective.

Immediately after the victory the amount of officers were cut to Skeleton after 12m pounds and no results.

Kate McCann has now launch this latest press release, I suspect Operation Grange will be shelved shortly with a McCann private investigation funded by public donations.
