Deals for XB1 don't seem as good atm.

Best I can find is 1tb version with either Forza 6 or Halo 5 for £299.99 at Smyths.

Is there anything better about at the moment does anyone know?

My nephew is looking to spend his hard earned birthday money! :p
 
Has anyone ever had it where the dash shows 2 friends online, but you tap left to expand the side menus, and only one is actually shown?

That is what's happening to me right now, and can't figure out if it's because a) The friend I have showing when I tap left is on 2 devices, or b) I have a friend that's got their privacy set to mask when they're online, or c) it's a bug

EDIT: I've just seen that the extra friend is online in the Xbox Win 10 App :-/

I'm just curious about how you feel about so many exclusive Xbox games coming/rumoured to be coming to the PC. I own an Xbox one myself but I mainly bought it for the exclusives but with Quantum Break coming to the PC and Forza 6, Horizon 3, Scalebound and Gears of 4 rumoured to be coming to PC aswell kinda feels like my Xbox is going to end up being nothing but a blu ray player.

I like the extra choice, Im really glad Microsoft are supporting the PC as a games platform again. I will still buy many of those on the xbone so I can play from the sofa.
 
Crazy how much UK prices are inflated. I bought Binding of Isaac and Rocket League last night from the Russian store total cost just shy of £12.

However if I'd of purchased UK would have been £27/£28. I even managed to get the Back to Future car pack included too on my Russian purchase for Rocket League!
 
Wow the Russian store sounds really cheap, I've been using the US store by buying gift cards on Amazon.com and then redeeming/purchasing on Xbox.com with the region changed to US. How do you buy from the Russian store? From the console directly?

a few ways

firstly go to these sites.

http://xbox-store-checker.com/en/home
http://www.digitalgamesprices.com/xboxone.php

find where is the cheapest.

for this example we'll use russia.

for russia i go to http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msru/ru_RU/cat/Xbox-LIVE/categoryID.67038600

buy the corresponding amount of rubles in gift cards (no vpn required)

redeem them on your xbox.com account (change the store to russia in the bottom left hand corner of site)

redeem said codes.

click buy game, it will show your available rubles and boom.

alternatively.

go to xbox site, click to buy game (after changing site to russia)

enter all your details but put in a random russian address.

connect vpn to russia

click buy (not tried this with russia but i did it with south africa yesterday)

with russia i just buy the gift cards first as you dont need a vpn



ps.... also game share with someone and you can share the price of games/xbox live.
