Hi guys.

Just filling my new loop and always all my best ideas end up looking poor.

I've mounted my tube res horizontally and I've got a really good level of fill in it but I want it full, I'm having trouble now clearing the air that's trapped here.

I've tilted the case rocked it and cleared the air but as soon as I turn the pump on it starts to come back.

Any ideas? If needs be I can upload a pic

Tilt the case to the filling position, turn on the pump (ideally with the system off) and let the air setting in the rez.

Then connect the fill port (maintaining the filling position) and fill the rez until it's full.

That's how I do my loop anyway.

Cheers mate. That helped a lot. Going to keep doing it and hopefully I will get the result I want.

Sick of these micro bubbles sticking to my tube too. Do you think setting the pump a notch faster will help?

those take a while to settle out, but it'll be fairly hard since your res is in a horizontal position...

If you put you case into filling position, and let it settle for maybe 24hrs and occasionally taping the tubes to set loose the micro bubbles that might help.

Does your tube res have an anti-cyclone plate, that will help get rid of the bubbles quickly. As they others have stated have the res vertically in the filling position until the loop is stable then rotate back to having it horizontal. Best of luck!
