So I just had a massive update for windows 10, UI has changed abit. Not that i asked for the update but yea, No choice with 10. So after the update I got a error saying some of my apps are now unsupported? That's great, Was fine before and now I get no sound whatsoever. No sound from my headset, Speakers or screen speakers. Nothing, Reinstalled all my sound drivers and sound card drivers, 4 restarts later... Still without sound. So annoyed with Microsoft stupid updating system for 10. About to have a rage fit :D

Try a restore to previous build

Fixed, My motherboard sound works fine so... The update made my soundblaster drivers now unsupported. Amazing... Such wow.

Yeah at some point you'd be forced to the latest build - but restoring an older build and updating again might resolve an issue maybe. Windows of late seems to like to decide certain software should be disabled/removed (that actually works fine) of its own accord on updates lately :(

You are right, sometimes, when you find that only update audio card drivers cannot solve the problem, you can try to update the motherboard drivers problem. All of the main hardware will work fine based on motherboard.
