**** The Official Google Nexus 6P Thread ****

Any other Frost white owners here? I ordered a 64gb one and I wanted to see how happy others are with this colour. I'm coming from a 5X which ended up being too laggy for me.

My frost is great, I have had it with a clear case and without and skinned it with DBrand skin but it peeled off around the edges as the bezel is so thin. Then had it bare again then dropped it on the floor, corner is slightly marked, put clear case back on.

Why isn't the Frost White version available anywhere on contract?

My upgrade is due soon, and I'm tied between this and the S7 Edge. Worried the S7 Edge isn't really worth the huge jump up in price p/m. But only really like the look of the Frost White 6P.

Has anyone here gone from a Nexus 5 (or 5X) to a Nexus 6P? I'm trying to decide between them and I prefer pretty much everything about the Nexus 6P over the 5X but I'm unsure about whether I'd get on OK with a 5.7" phone as I really like the size and form factor of my current Nexus 5. I think the Nexus 6P feels OK size wise in the hand but my primary concern is that it will be awkward when it's in my trouser pocket! I recall being hesitant about going for a 5" phone at the time but quickly got used to the size so perhaps I'd easily adjust to a 6"-ish model. Though having said that one of my friends has a Galaxy note 4 and he feels it's too big and wants to go back to a 5" model so I'm not totally convinced on the larger phone.

I've looked at other devices but I really want to stick with a Google Nexus so I'm pretty much set on either a Nexus 5X or 6P to replace my Nexus 5.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I went from a Nexus 4 to a 6P and although it was massive to begin with and I contemplated sending it back I soon stopped thinking about it and now it feels completely natural in the hand.

As for trouser pockets, I don't think anyone could answer without knowing the waist size, length and style of your trousers. My 6P fits fine in my work trousers and jeans so I don't find it a problem but if you're a midget with emo tendencies it may be a problem.

I moved up from a Nexus 5. The size of the screen itself hasn't been a problem, but I keep complaining about how slippery the phone is when picking it up from a flat surface, partly due to the slim bezels, partly due to fairly slippery aluminium and I guess partly due to stupid location of the buttons all on one side.

That said, I've not dropped it yet, as it forces you to be careful I suppose, and I have no other complaints at all - every other aspect of the phone is brilliant in my opinion.

I got the 6p at launch to replace my n5, loved the device but personally couldn't get use to the size after a week, more so the height so I returned it.

I've noticed in that whilst phones keep getting thinner the bezels at the top/bottom keep growing which is a problem when the screen size goes up as it makes the phone overly long like you say.

I think I'd prefer a thicker phone if they could make it shorter

Yup likewise, give me a thicker phone every day over a wider and/or longer phone. I found the 6P too thin as when it came to picking it up of a flat desk surface, it was rather tricky & slippy!

I am 99% certain I am going to go with the GS 7 now, I would love to wait until the next nexus for stock android and guaranteed quick updates but unfortunately I can just see more of the same happening i.e. a big phablet as their high end with a smaller less impressive version :(

don't get me wrong. i absolutely love my 6P, it's great and just needs some polishing of this diamond to make it even better for the next iteration. the next nexus can't be bad if they keep the idea the exact same, with the only change being upgrade of insides as things have got better over the year, and widen the phone and move the buttons up. the design is beautiful, the power is great but a small increase wouldn't go a miss

After a long wait i have finally bought a Nexus 6P 32Gb in Black.

Could anyone please recommend:

- good car charger and also a
- desktop charger stand too
- spare charger for the office
- Adapter to use with PC USB ports

Many thanks

Picked up a 32gb one of these yesterday. Loving it so far! Screen is fantastic and it feels great. Ordered a case as I couldn't find one in town so I'm going to have to really careful with it until it comes.

Went into CEX yesterday. They're selling a used 32GB Nexus 6P for £540... That's nearly £100 more than Google's retail price. What planet are they on? Lol

Tesco normal USB "high output" £10 job worked for me along with the short cable that comes with the phone. Charges plenty fast enough even though it's not USB c.
No
The one on the Google store under 6p accessories. Lots of cheaper alternatives but this one IS totally compliant and works...
The phone comes with one

With A... Tronsmart USB Type C Car Charger,Tronsmart 33W Dual Port USB Car Charger with Quick Charge 2.0 with one Build-in Type C Cable for Nexus 6P at the rainforest works well and quick charges.

Haven't found a good plug quick charger apart from the pricy official one.

Cex is the most over priced shop ever. Never even step in, just taking advantage of the uneducated man
