thanks CEX!

inb4 I should have known.

what amazes me is how can you even think of posting a laptop wrapped in some bubble wrap and black bin bag. christ almighty.

already wrote them, want to make them collect it.

This was just a spare laptop i wanted to use on a trip to check on photos and occasional email. Was planning to get rid of it in about 2 months, but CEX made it easier.

You sure that isn't the desktop background? :D

You should be able to get a refund for it, really is appalling.

reminds me of the time a bought a lappy off the bay of fleas, it was sent in a jiffy bag i kid you not...

sure not :)

if i paid say £100, I wouldn't mind and replace the screen myself for £30 off bay.

but I bought the only reasonably priced "A" condition there and this is what it got me.

I've never had a good experience with cex I purchased a S5 from them for testing and it was a good deal described as minor cosmetic damage. Our definitions clearly differ as I recieved a phone with a completely smashed screen. Not a crack it was completely frosted.

Agreed on a replacement they'd swap it out for an A grade version no extra charge apparantly A grade doesn't include a battery .

3rd attempt A grade phone "personally checked" by the manager was in an even worse state than the first one. Basically looked like it had been run over, by a tank, repeatedly!

Refunded and wrote them off for life.
