'Special shops I'm hoping will be pharmacies or something with security.

Good idea, although risky, I think though as some people have become immune to certain drugs and it's all about quality of life. No point in living if it's in pain.

There's also a good medical case for banning tobacco due to much higher health damage than cannabis which is banned. But logic doesn't outweigh money.

Government doesn't allow this stuff for a reason - just use a legal synthetic version. It's much safer....

Because they can't tax it like they can alcohol and tobacco and these industries donate to their campaigns.

Legalise prostitution, legalise weed, stop making people criminals who are doing no harm to anyone else.

I don't even think it's that any more. I think the voting public are conditioned to want a war on drugs. It's especially true for the Tory voter base.

Then we will have to wait for the old and antiquated people to die out.

How the USA is becoming more progressive than us on the war on drugs I do not know.

in the 13 states that passed laws allowing for the use of medical marijuana between 1999 and 2010, 25 percent fewer people die from opioid overdoses annually.

Who is this Nick Clegg you speak of?

In other news, a man has a trouser accident in the fruit and veg isle at Tesco's.

Legal highs have a proposed blanket ban.
Also 'spice' (synthetic cannabis) is a lot worse for you than its real counterpart.

I do agree with legalising it though, the health benefits from it are very clear and positive.

Is "Tesco's" the result of a merger between Tesco and Sainbury's?

How did that apostrophe get there? Such a merger would probably see the world descend into anarchy. My Tesco Club Card would be overthrown by my Nector card and eventually we 'd be in a loop of tempting offers .

prostitution is legal...as long as you pay tax on your earnings...

and of course they could tax weed.

you can make alcohol at home easier than you can grow weed, doesn't stop there being huge isles of the stuff in supermarkets.

why do you think they couldn't tax it?

i believe he is referring to the numerous medicines derived from cannabis that have the effects without the high.

not legal highs
