The Division. Are we interested?

We do this anyway. My mate wanted a sniper and I picked up an M60 and we cover each other. No need to give "roles" out.... thats how teamplay usually works :p

especially with a group of mates, everyone has their own role anyway, and there is no say about it, i usually grab a sniper and try and tank, its more fun. I'm "that" guy. :D

It just doesn't do it for me !! It runs fine and the graphics, albiet nothing like the pre-footage, look good but the PvE is mind numbingly boring. Gears of War from years ago does it infinitely better.

I never feel like I'm in a perilous environment or in danger which annoy's the ++++ out of me! the background story and setting is all there but the atmosphere isn't! I go to an encounter and it's the same dross event, the radar tells me the direction they are going to attack so I just sit behind cover dispatching the idiots as they run directly at me !! wtf !! I thought after the beta they might have added to the AI but no....

I despise all this hand holding dross we get nowadays, there's no need to explore just follow the orange idiot proof pathing to where you have to go, hold a button to complete your objective and then look at the shiny stuff you get for no effort...

And yes, I only have myself to blame for buying into this pap..

Seriously, play on.

The first missions ease you in nice and gently. Some of the later ones are much harder. I'm level 24 and done all but the last 2 missions. Had some seriously intense moments on the good missions like Police Academy and Amherst’s Apartment

Thanks Mario, what is the risk of going into the DZ?

you can lose DZ XP, DZ credits & any DZ loot you have picked up off the floor but not extracted yet.

You can't loose anything you haven't gained already in the DZ, and anything you've actually got equipped can't be lost.

Still doesn't stop the forums being full of cry babies wanting the DZ to have PVP disabled however. I hope they keep it as it is, as currently it has a nice amount of risk, without being like some MMOs where you drop everything in your inventory when you die for others to steal.

DZ gives way better loot,if you like unpredictability and MP - you will like DZ,but i suggest to play with somebody, you will get more chances of staying alive

Not necessarily the case. The DZ loot tends to drop at the bottom of your player bracket. If you're in the 21 - 24 bracket and level 24. Most loot will drop at level 21.

PVE is better in this regard in that the loot tends to be at your level.

Be wary of going Rogue...

Someone posted on the official forums (with a screenshot as proof) after being killed while on the manhunt timer. They lost 16k exp, 8 DZ Keys & 100k DZ Funds!!!!

But the reward if you survive that manhunt timer is brilliant :D

THe whole point of going rogue is the whole risk / reward thing. Get to manhunt status and its all or nothing.

I love the sound of the DZ and the freedom to go rogue, but knowing that if it backfires on you then you lose big time. I wonder if anyone will start a 'Most Wanted' list of the rogues they come a cropper to?

Been playing with a friend taking the missions on that we can on hard. Proving a good challenge. When we get knocked back it's usually we just that we got our tactics wrong so take a step back and plan for the next hit.

Loved the napalm mission and the one through times square (had a snow storm come in during that battle making it that much harder!)

What is the reward? As the same person said they only got 1.5k dz credits for surviving it!

The exp and keys I find easy to believe... but 100k funds? Jesus. Maybe it's done on a who 'tagged basis'. If killing a level 5 rogue rewards 10k credits, if 10 people tagged him then there is your 100k ha!

Picked this up yesterday and just about caught up to where I got in the beta.
Would be good to have a few people on my friends list - Neverender-101

Don't forget all the loot you stole from the people you killed !

Because surely you wouldn't go rogue if the players you killed weren't carrying any loot would you ? ;)
