Vodka is my favorite alcoholic drink, I drink vodka every week (not something to be proud of... but... well...) also I work in a night club so I've tried many.

I've had many favorites in my life, atm Ciroc is my favorite but what tastes good for me might not taste as good for you.

IMO:
neat = Ciroc / Grey Goose / Ketel One
vodka + lime + soda = Ciroc
vodka + red bull = Ketel One / Belvedere
vodka + tonic = Grey Goose
vodka + lemonade = any vodka will do
vodka + juices = Ciroc, Belvedere, Grey Goose, Ketel One and Snow Queen
vodka + coke = replace the vodka with dark rum
vodka + diet/sugar free mixer = are you joking???

If you want your vodka as a martini or cocktail then things will change, because different vodkas will completely change the taste of the drink.

I've found that Karlsson's Gold is really good as a shot or neat, it tastes great, but it is horrible if you mix with ANYTHING and I mean anything.
I used to like Absolut but now I don't enjoy it anymore.
Royal Dragon as some posted photos, the bottle is nice, the dragon inside the bottle looks cool, but I don't know... for the price you can get better stuff... as a Gift is great.
Crystal head... what to say.. Great bottle, that is it...

After the 4th drink, doesn't matter, they will taste the same as you are ****** already :D

Also as a reference, Kettle One is the house vodka where I work.

Imo Diplomat IF you can get hold of it due to the sanctions with Russia. Currently drinking Bazic which is actually a surprisingly good stand in.

Only vodkas I like are Absolut and Finlandia, which going by Glaucus' chart means my taste buds aren't mental. :p

Has any one else tried Black Cow vodka? Was very nice and smooth the one time I tried it, made the Crystal Head and Skyy vodkas we were also having at the same time seem like cheap supermarket stuff.

Stoli or Russian Standard for me.

Unlike Whiskey I don't see the point in spending big bucks.

I was always under the impression that vodka was just like water but alcoholic, ie it doesn't really have any flavour or taste. I guess that's wrong?

Ah, so you haven't tried any good vodkas yet then? There's plenty of replies in this thread about good vodkas such as Ketel One, Grey Goose and so on. Drink them neat or with no more than a tiny splash of mixer. Otherwise you'd be as well to drink something cheaper.

However if you want to try one that is genuinely a bit different I suggest Wódka Żołądkowa Gorzka. It's like a spiced rum but in vodka variety and packs a lot more flavour than your typical enfusions. I also got gifted a bottle of Thunder Toffee vodka and while it's a lot weaker and more of a liquor style it tastes fantastic.

Once you get at the premium end, apparently. Virtually all other alcohol is much nicer to drink at the reasonably priced / supermarket end. Again, vodka is the best for night out "pre-drinks" - you'd hardly have a round of flavoursome ales before hitting, say, a club / houseparty! :p

Smirnoff gives unsatisfactory squatting outputs:

I'm not a big vodka advocate but I do enjoy the odd Grey Goose which I find provides superior squatting outcomes:

As a rule, if your vodka doesn't allow you to squat on top of an old television set whilst being groped by a a fellow Russian then you probably need to re-evaluate your drinking choices.

Upstanding members of society. :p
