I think you need to go and understand what eugenics is.

You either haven't read the thread, or don't understand eugenics.
I think you need to go and understand what eugenics is.
I do, thanks, I think you need to check your understanding if you don't realise that enforced sterilisation of "undesirables" (we can call them untermenschen if you prefer) is pretty much the dictionary definition of negative eugenics
Eugenics (/juːˈdʒɛnɪks/; from Greek εὐγενής eugenes "well-born" from εὖ eu, "good, well" and γένος genos, "race, stock, kin") is a set of beliefs and practices that aims at improving the genetic quality of the human population.
Dictionary says you're wrong. Nobody anywhere in this thread has talked about improving genetic quality or removing 'bad stock'.
We're talking about people taking responsibility for their actions and for those that can't/won't putting a solution in place. One that causes no physical or mental harm and is completely reversible.

Go beyond the dictionary and look into what eugenics actually is, how it's done, it's effects.
Sterilising people because of their decisions is eugenics at its core.
The same Wikipedia article then goes on to say:
"through the promotion of higher rates of sexual reproduction for people with desired traits (positive eugenics), or reduced rates of sexual reproduction and sterilization of people with less-desired or undesired traits (negative eugenics), "
No! Sterilising people because of their birth qualities is eugenics at its core.
Yes, genetic traits. It's in the etymology of the word.
Ever heard the phrase a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing? Look it up. It applies to your with your inaccurate accusations.
Like I said, have a read up on the history of eugenics.
Oh dear, you're getting a bit defensive there... At least have the courage to stand by your opinions instead of trying to redefine them![]()
Just because you keep repeating something that's wrong doesn't make it right.
EuGENics is the practice of trying to improve GENETIC quality.
Nobody here is trying to do anything of the sort. As far as I'm aware there's nothing wrong with this stupid tarts genes.
Like I said, you're wrong on its meaning. I'm well aware of the Nazi selective breeding programs and not a single person in this thread is advocating anything of the sort - except seemingly you.
I'll say it again, but you won't, look up is history.
Genetics had changed, what's now the study of DNA was one the study of hereditary. The term eugenics was c coined long before DNA was discovered.
Criminality, poverty and sexuality were all considered hereditary and subject to eugenics at some point.
Ha! You've said it yourself, it's about hereditary traits! (We now know about DNA). Where has anyone said anything about hereditary traits?
Eugenics did...
Yes but nobody in this thread did ffs! Not until you randomly brought it up.
No one mentioned it by name, but as had been pointed out to you, with post numbers, it had been advocated.
