The very definition of "terribly good"? The show needs to be consistently terrible and so terrible you still watch it. And I don't mean a discussion on how Heroes or Prison Break or something else went down hill.

For me it has to be Scorpion. From the first episode it was awful, this is from the pilot episode:

To set the scene, they are apparently all geniuses with the main guy having an IQ of 197 (you are reminded each week that this is higher than Einsteins)..... so a bad software update to the air traffic control towers all around Los Angeles means no planes can land. They apparently need to get an older version that is only available on the planes still in the air, the plane does a fly by but WiFi cannot connect and download quick enough....

... so the "geniuses" decide that dangling a Cat5 ethernet cable from the under carriage of a flying plane to a Ferrari that has matched the speed and hooking it up the a laptop is the only option.

Every week they provide an entertainingly highly unrealistic solution to unlikely situations in an attempt to script a TV show that is supposed to make the audience feel in aw of their intellect.

I used to watch CSI because I felt like I had to for some reason. It's awful and I'm not sure why I wasted so much time.

CSI: Cyber.

I only watch it for three reasons though. 1.) so I can laugh at the preposterous cases (an airborne computer virus FFS) and the way they 'hack' their way to success, 2.) the drinking game where you take a shot each time a character mentions one of the made up substitutions for Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites they aren't allowed to mention and 3.) Hayley Kiyoko.

Never heard of Scorpion and from I've just read about it I have no real desire to watch it but I have a question.

Considering the plane, with its landing gear down, lined up with the runway and got within feet of it, why didn't an obviously old and experienced pilot just land?

As for the OP question...

Currently it's Legends of Tomorrow though I haven't seen last week's yet as I'm thinking it'll be cancelled so I shouldn't waste my time suffering the ****.

Also you putting genius in quotes made me think of this.

Bad news for you on the Legends of Tomorrow front, the CW renewed everything.

Probably Supernatural. Completely watching out of habit at this point.

Honourable mention to a show that's not on anymore but one that I watched every week simply because it was so catastrophically awful on every level - Bonekickers.

It was the BBCs poorly conceived CSI meets Tomb Raider meets Da Vinci Code series about a team of archaeologists who each week found an artefact of huge historical significance and seemed to do their best to just flat out destroy it for some reason.

Failed on every level. Awful acting, cringey and/or clunky dialogue, massive plot holes or things which just simply didn't make sense. The only reason to watch it was for unintentional belly laughs. Go find it!

Watched a few episodes of that DC legends show. Awful but I think I'll keep watching!

Also rather fond of Gotham, no idea if others like it or if it's considered popular?!

Supergirl is dire, won't be watching that again.

Legends of Tomorrow is about as good as I thought it might be (not good)

Arrow this week was a terrible plot. Its lost its edge recently I think or that the way DC are going?

legends of tomorrow is so bad i actually like it, but arrow is terrible and i want every character to die - still watch it though i don't know why.

With you on Scorpion, really poor TV. It's like everything they think of just works, no matter what the situation, the first thing they try solves the problem.

Stan Lee's Lucky Man - why the Nesbit?!?!!

My wife watches Zoo... what an absolutely terrible program.

Yea, DC have really dropped the ball and LoT is really not good, Arrow has lost the plot, fortunately never watched Superteen and the only saving grace is Flash but I can see things doing south there too.

Probably also a case of superhero overload as well - by the time all these spinoffs DC and Marvel have been pumped out it'll be back to the angsty teen dramas again so better make the most of it!
