Well given that in the 2011 census 59.4% of the population selected Christianity............

Only 31% stated they had No religion and Religion not stated.

That isn't granular enough. I know many people who will state they are Christian when asked but are actually non-practising, agnostic or atheist.

Not relevant imho, the question isn't 'how religious are you'.

You don't have to attend church every Sunday to be religious.

You feel dirty? Really? Maybe it is time to grow up.

Whilst I'm Christian I feel perfectly happy walking into Mosques, Synagogues, Temples and other places of worship. It's quite interesting. I have friends who are not Christian who are happy to do the same.

Maybe you should open up your mind to other possibilities and learn to be a bit more tolerant and interested in your fellow man.

Maybe not, but I reckon a lot of people that have these excessively strong opinions have never met a Muslim person, a Jew or been to those places of worship, or those countries either.
