Four day weekend!

Normal weekend here - though, next week is a 4 day weekend, which also happens to be my birthday weekend, so I can wait :p

This weekend, my wife's bar is staying open 60 hours straight from 6pm today to 6am Monday, so I'm guessing silly things will happen anyway.
 
Decorating my daughters room today, some wall mural she has picked a fresh coat of paint, visiting the parents tomorrow, going out for a bike ride with my son on Sunday and hopefully I'll get to put my feet up some time around Monday afternoon.

Missus is away in Scotland with her sister and mother, so i'm stuck at home looking after the mother in laws Jack Russell.

By 'stuck at home' i mean eating take-aways ( delivered, of course ), and regular dog walks ( conveniently the exact same distance as the local off-licence ).

Its like being a teenager again !
 
Friday - off
Sunday and Monday - on call so can't do much (I will get called a few times)
Monday - working
 
Friday is usually my day off, so I have tuesday in lieu :cool:

Bike rides, games, music and a project I need to start for college :p
 
What a beautiful day! Sun's out, it's really warm. I've watched the latest episodes of Good Wife, Limitless, Billions and Vikings. Have tied the garden and done a little housework. Lunch to look forward to then an easter egg hunt at Cliveden with the children this afternoon. Does life get any better? :)
 
Going to be an expensive weekend as I need go renew my annual season ticket tomorrow :( ... other than that mostly checking that I've got everything I need as I go on holiday the week after next.

One of my colleagues is coming down on Monday for the week to do some work with a consultant so I'm out with him then
 
I've got 2 weeks of sick leave starting Tuesday after surgery two days ago. Not the best but I'm sure I'll find something to do. Maybe catch up on some games I've been putting off since, well, 2009
 
First weekend back after two weeks in Borneo so I'm working Fri, Sat, Sun to catch up on work and get some OT hours in. I do have Mon and Tues off however.

Came in today to my boss off and a tonne of work in my inbox and the two service desk boxes :(

When's the next holiday? :D
 
My Easter consists of work, work and work sadly. :( Presently I'm 45 days into a 90 day trip on a 14 year old Korean built wreck of an oil tanker, Easter Monday held the delights of having to hacksaw out a section of blocked pipe for the vacuum toilet system, and clear the blockage using an oxy-acetylene torch and a hammer...

What has been smelt, cannot be unsmelt.... :eek:

There was a holiday!? When? As of my alarm going off at 6am this morning I don't remember having 4 days off or indeed feel like I did.
 
I planned on blowing my 4 days on The Division but my brother was sick on, Friday and Saturday we only played about 2hrs before he was feeling ill again. We played most of the day on, Sunday and, Monday I was sick so again we didn't play.
