****** Official World of Tanks OcUK Clan ******

lol I was playing in a toon with my brother, I pinged the map to indicate to him where we're going, cue 2/3 of our team following us.

Never ping the map before the game starts on a x3 weekend :D

The new physics are great, had so many 'lol' moments when someone tries to navigate a small cliff to get to you only to flip over and die slowly :D

x3 first win + 100% xp token, nice....

You'll find that MM can hate you equally on all days of the week ;)

I'm actually not quite sure which new tank line to pursue at the moment as I got bored of Russian medium (plus pretty far away from T-54 anyway) and French light trees. I'm close to unlocking AMX 13 75 but it now just seems a completely outclassed tank compared to American counterparts and on paper the 90 version doesn't look thrilling either. Batchat may be worth in the end but I'm far too casual gamer to grind so much on average tanks.

You know you're doing something right when people say you're using an aimbot :D To be fair I did get a couple lucky shots in :)

I'm clearly not as good as you, I only get accused of being a gold noob when I almost never use the premium ammo :p

Also realised I had god awful skills on my Type 59 as most were before camo nerf when I was a passive hulldown scout hybrid. Sorted myself out with some BIA across the board, Sixth Sense and Smooth Ride along with Clutch braking. Repair skills around 80% and tank is feeling rather brilliant I must say.

I finally got my Stug IV and T95E2 (The_Mad_Tank is my alt acc and got to Cent AX) over the weekend. Won't be buying the Sentinel though.

The T95E2 is not a bad tank at all, and it looks pretty good. I would love a T95E6, but I would need to do Clan Wars for that.

Slowly worked my way through some of the T28 Concept missions. All I really want is a T55A, but I need to go through some of these missions.

I may leave the clan once I have things sorted at home and leave "The_Mad_Tank" as a Deputy so I can still help with any clan admin. Then go and find a clan wars clan.

I got MT12 done for the Object 260 this weekend - was so chiffed with that, only got about 10-15 missions left I think for the 260 now :)

Link - offer is there should you want to get involved with cw as I said mate.

Congrats on the T95E2 mate.

I dont understand this mentality now as you can buy premium ammo with credits

I have 20 million credits sitting doing nothing as I have just kind of stopped at tier V and now just play for fun and to upgrade crew...I can happily buy premium ammo and it doesnt cost me a a penny..no gold has to be used so why wouldnt anybody with spare credits use it to help them out!?

Well not everyone can afford to fire gold depending what tanks they run and as if immature audiences ever were reasonable with their attitudes in this game. If this wasn't a freemium game they could fix this whole conundrum by simply limiting "gold" shells to certain percentage of total ammo capacity but as it stands they need to make money from people.

I've found I also have a lot more money now that I stopped playing higher tier machines and the money pit that is Jagdtiger. I've also always hated the German T-25 that I got a long time ago but really starting to grow into it now that I've tinkered with modules and crew skills.

I always carry a few premium for the M4 derp..makes a huge difference in close quarters

but bought with credits, not gold
I also seem to have loads of the perks at the moment I have over 30 100% xp boost ones?! didnt even know wheat they were for!

I'm not too far from getting the T95E2 either, my bro who I play with most of the time is about half way through his Cent 7/1 on the way to unlocking the Cent AX. Glad to hear it's not bad :)

Tier 9 and 10 seem to be a HEAT and APCR fest at the moment, I noticed that in a good proportion of the games in my Type 61 about 50% of the rounds in the hit log have had yellow text, this is in a tank that the crew has to be careful they don't fart as it could put a hole the armour :p People seem to be just loading it by default.

Click to service the tank and in the ammunition section where you see premium ammo, use pull down menu on the gold cost and will see regular credit price. Naturally quite expensive but I am now at a point where just about every single tank I use has around half a dozen premium shells for those emergency situations.

Started packing it at lower tier tanks too with the appearance of those Japanese mini Godzillas as they can be evil to engage in certain situations. Also if it's end of the match and everyone is on low health battling it out in a tight game I'm really not mad at anyone who will be firing gold. In all honesty I think I still have old mentality when it cost gold as I doubt even 5% of my fired shots are premium. It does give you a very solid edge, some of the tanks are absolute beasts with the right kind of a shell.

I thought you needed gold to buy premium? How do you buy it without?

Patch 8.1 (I believe?) added this. I think it's much more fair as anyone can potentially fire gold ammo without having to spend real money.

Premium ammunition should be limited however. I usually carry between 5-15 rounds of premium ammo, depending on the ammo capacity. I carry around half in my Val2 and all gold in my P2j, as even those tanks' gold ammunition is pap and bounces a lot. If they limited the capacity they should buff the standard rounds of the p2j at the very least.

I'm not too far from getting the T95E2 either, my bro who I play with most of the time is about half way through his Cent 7/1 on the way to unlocking the Cent AX. Glad to hear it's not bad :)

The T95E2 is an interesting tank, however I do rate the 59-Patton higher as it both gets the premium tank credit bonus (which the T95E2 doesn't) and higher pen with it's standard AP rounds (190mm vs 181mm). I really think they should buff the gun to 192mm penetration and give it the credit co-efficient, but it is still not a bad tank as it stands.
