Oh my days. So you have to have a separate back cover to go with the smart cover? And how much does that little lot cost?

£94 for both and around £110 iirc for the larger iPad Pro

This thing is a beast. Really need to get a case for it asap though. Shame the apple ones are so expensive and only come in grey.

I recently got an iPad pro 128gb which was on offer recently, arrived today, got it for £663 and another £145 worth of points coming back. I got a £11 cover from Amazon which seems fine. Also got Applecare+, pencil, stand and 29W charger (which is a must)

I just wanted to try out the 12.9" form factor and my iPad mini has got to the point where it was almost unusable. That lasted me about 3.5 years and that didn't have great spec. This should last me even longer and I got it on the rakuten offer which made it a lot cheaper. If I got an iPad mini 4 with 64gb storage that would be £400 so the effective price of this (£660 as well as £145 of vouchers) is a bargain for 128gb. So far it's great. It's huge but great. I can't imagine split screen multitasking is worth doing on anything smaller.

Tempted to put it on an Apple TV but I only really want it for plex so that's quite a lot for what isn't that much of an upgrade over my 3rd gen Apple TV

On your cellular version do you guys see any plans from ee? Apple says on the website that if you have account with ee you can share your data but mine isn't showing any network with built in apple sim:/

What cases are people using on their 9.7" iPad Pro? I'll be damned if I'm buying the Apple Smart cover. On my Air 2 I had a non-genuine Smart style cover which was great, but it seems at the moment suppliers are still awaiting their shipments from Asia on the various non-genuine options.

I just took out a second mortgage for the 12.9" smart cover and its great. No idea why loads of the reviews are complaining about it not working. Its very stable and works perfectly.
