So level 30 (hooray)
Did my first Daily last night and was tough (eventually my internet went down and so got booted a few mins from the end!).
However, anyone care to explain in real simple terms the Dark Zone and how to build up my talents, protection, weapons etc?
Went in DZ and killed some people, things to collect didn't seem that great? There is a weapon I want to buy, but it's 600k+ I think (DZ credits?)

I have no idea about talents and perks?
The one thing I do know, is med kits and modding them....

Also, I have 'finished' the game but still not upgraded 100% on the med, security and tech wings etc finished all the side missions....

Still, awesome game :D

As MissChief said, check the note boards in the safe houses as this updates your map with missions and encounters etc. Normally get at least three appear from there.

Have you ever played with Nexus? Is that the same one he uses where he has the rehabalitation talent on his mask? He blinds himself with a flashbang then he's constantly topping up health. Mind you, it goes up very slow, like 2% or something, but is always charging constantly topping up. This guy wasn't, he was getting blasted by most of us, his health was clearly depleting all the way to the bottom but at the same point each time it was topping back up to 100% in a split second. It wasn't increasing slowly like Nexus's glitch, it was topping up quickly in one burst. You can't use first aid packs that quickly due to recharge, and also there's no way you can keep using a first aid talent every 5-10 seconds over the course of like a 3 minute fight.

That sounds like what happened to some rogue who went manhunt on our server, we finally got the kill but it took about 8 of us running after him and the only reason we killed him was because for some reason he decided to climb a ladder and we all just sat there blasting away.

I was the one that got the kill :D

If anyone wants to add me, rich0dify on uplay - I play most nights.

Also, is anyone sick of all the spoilt rage about HE DivTech droprate whine? Been reading /r/thedivision, every other post is some guy whining about how they've spent every waking moment of the past few weeks grinding and don't have enough HE DT to get their perfect roll MP5.

It almost makes me hate the gaming community.

I'm more sick of the whining about the 'whiners' coming from people who aren't at the top of endgame who just haven't experienced the lack of Div Tech simply because they're not at that point in the game yet. "It's not an issue for me therefore it's not an issue."

:p

HE DT is something that I heard will not be craftable as there should be one element of the game that is "High Value". It's all part of the game I suppose and the reason I converted by green and blue DT to HE mats as I needed fabric.

I still need to learn DT routes. I am awful orienteering from maps and I'm much better following people around a couple of times and memorizing the path. I had a quick 10 min try and picked up 7 HE DT which was nice. If only it was like that all the time :D

Yeah I heard the same Twirly. I kind of understand why it won't be upgradable like the other mats - but at the same time the mechanic for getting it definitely needs looking at. There's what, 20? or so Div Tech boxes on the map - with a 2 hour respawn. I get maybe 1 High End every 5 boxes (with 150% scavenging) so that's a maximum of 4 HE DT in a 2 hour period, assuming I get every box. That's fine, 1 high end craft per 2 hours is reasonable. It's not great, but it's reasonable considering it's potentially the best gear currently in game.
Then account for the fact that you're never going to get all the boxes, infact you're lucky if you get 3-5 in a 2 hour period due to the shared mechanic. So maybe 1 HE DT per 2 hours, that's 6 hours in the DZ for one craft attempt. When you consider you need 10+ attempts to get decent rolls, that's a lot of hours PER PIECE.
I think there's 4 gear blueprints you need to get from DZ06 to make a full iLevel 31 set - that's not including the weapon mods... you can see how much time this is building up to....

Hi

My uplay: hardoc1221, if you can add me that would great. Currently lvl 30, decent gears been playing solo since the beginning.

I found this to be the easiest for farming phoenix credit if you're soloing.

That gets you credits but is useless for Phoenix credits unless it's the daily hard mission?

You don't even need what I would call a 'good' group anymore.

You haven't been playing with the random muppets I have then :D Yes I do man actual muppets as people can only play that badly if they have puppets on their hands.

When you are constantly shouting 'leave one guy alive and let the timer count down' or 'run down the right'
