and in reality(at 33 million UK users) it is actually the people who don't have a facebook account that are the odd ones... once you've discounted the children not old enough for an account and the old people who are a bit too past it to start then it is quite clear than normal people don't shun it

Duplicate accounts and spam accounts are in the mix too. Technically not allowed, but that's never stopped anyone before.

Short story short. Got to 2nd interview and the interviewer asked for access to my Facebook account. When I told him that I didn't have one he basically called me a liar and ended the interview.

Yeh never used it for years then um did. Loads of crap on there really. Almost like people think they need to post certain things in order to do Facebook...

Then I tailored it to my interests. Followed people and subjects I am interested in and removed, blocked etc those I wasn't.

It is what you make of it.

Is it? You don't have to be on it to hear peoples rubbish via radio reading it out as well as TV. Some broadcaster everywhere is reading out a lot on Facebook/Twitter.

I got logged out an age ago when there was an update, no idea what my login details are so been off it about 2 year and haven't missed it one bit, apparently I have an account still and people mention they have messaged me on it but I honestly can't be bothered to log in again.

I think i'm still "following" about 30 of my friends list. Therefore I only see what they put up, which isn't very much. I keep it for messenger, easy way to get in touch with those you don't have a mobile number for. Most friends do the same.

I love how people are literally arguing over facebook. Get a grip people.
