More out of curiosity than anything but my dad his selling is soft top BMW and has posted the ad on AT:

I'm curious as to what the good people of OC Motors have to make of the advert :) What are your thoughts?
My personal opinion would be to leave the dog out of the pictures but apparently it's intentional. I doubt it will help sell the car but there we go.

Looks fine to me.

Right time of year for a convertible. 320 diesel which will attract 90% of the searches. Not many about at that price and not much between others.

The rim protectors would worry me more than the dog.

He said the same about the time of year, even put-off putting up for sale until the weather was better (generally). He wanted to keep the mileage under 70k as well.
I thought you bought tyres with those 'included' i.e they were shaped that way to do that same job, I guess not.

As a dog owner mutley would put me off too.

There's a reason my crazy cocker is restricted to an enclosed cage and fully lined boot

I'd skip it because of the dog, don't want a car covered in hair with scratched leather that smells terrible first time i take it out and it gets wet and steamed up.

Otherwise it seems fine.

I was initially shocked by how much it is, but then again I suppose it does have everything going for it. Very late model, low mileage, good interior colour combo, lots of kit etc... But £6300 for a diesel E46, wowza.

Dog pics need to go, it'll only add negative thoughts to a potential buyers mind in my opinion.

Needs a proper clean, lots of dirt/debris around the boot/bonnet area when it is up in the pics. Also the accelerator pedal is filthy with mud. Tyres could use some tyre shine.

Zoomed in picture of a fading BMW door sill doesn't add anything? You can see that in the previous picture showing the nicely cleaned seat controls.

Two pictures including the service book but none of them show the service stamps? Take them out what's the point? Alloy gator needs to come off they look terrible, or is that a bad idea hence them being on in the first place?

Buying a car that is used to transport pets would put me off.

An SE 10 year old 320d for 6k? Really need to look at your pricing if you want to sell this.

I love dogs ,but seeing dogs in cars I think of, wet dog smell that you cant get rid of, hair absolutely everywhere and on those leather seats I also think of scratches from claws.

The picture will make a few people chuckle, it might even make a few say, "aww look at the dog picture, that's funny, I bet the seller is a nice guy" but I think it will put more people off than anything else!

Definitely lose the dog picture

Go ahead...make my day.

going by the comments I thought the pic was with the dog standing on the roof!

Dog seating in footwell doesnt really say quick ignore this car to me tbh
