David Gest dead

Just came here for some unknown reason to post that I've never heard of him, I thought it would add to the thread to let you know that.

(I have really of course)
 
I'm surprised anyone here hasn't heard of him. I think most people have, well before CBB which the radio kept referring to him being known here as.

He was everywhere when Michael Jackson died, and was very well known before that.

Regardless, if you haven't heard of him, there's no real reason to post saying so is there? :confused:

The thing is when people like Bowie die then it's real news, this bloke is so obscure why post anything, it just ain't news at all.
 
Just noticed this on the BBC. Irony at it's strongest.

He had planned to tour the UK in July with his latest show, called the David Gest Is Not Dead But Alive With Soul Tour!

This. Different people mean different things to certain people.

I'm an Arsenal fan and one of our former players, Kenny Sansom is in danger of drinking himself to death.

Important man to me and I would post if the worst happened, but it would mean nothing to others. You probably know people who would mean nothing to me.
 
Quite shocked by this, not a fan of his and he did seem some what of an oddball but yeah, never nice when someone dies.
