'Jeremy Corbyn's £3million state salary'

It's almost as if the press have nothing to be discussing, not like there is an impending vote on anything important I guess.

So he's earned on average £100k per year for 30 years, that's about right for a politician Shirley?

£50k per year average salary. The remainder is pension - which may or may not be drawn upon depending on how long he lives.

Shock at lefities being hypocrites again

I'm not sure why it makes Corbyn a hypocrite though - it's not like he's ever hidden how much his salary or pension is. The main issue with the Cameron thing is that it took him four attempts and five days to answer simple question regarding the Panama papers. Corbyn rightly pulled him up on that - it doesn't make him a hypocrite.

Just as rubbish as the Cameron stuff.

Indeed, though nice to see some semblance of balance :p

It might make a few people realise that Corbyn is in reality just as well off, privileged background etc. as any Conservative politician.

I'd have much more respect for Corbyn if he were like Dave Neillist* who was an MP but donated his salary to charity up to the point where he lived on a manual skilled workers wage (~40% of his MP's wage).

Stopped him from becoming a Champagne Socialist like Corbyn and the cronies he surrounds himself with.

*Terry Fields did the same, so not a one off example.

Corbyn is MP for Islington North where the average house price is over £750,000. I'm surprised he can afford to live in his own constituency even on an MP's salary! :p

Corbyn has never had a real job. He's a career politician who knows nothing about the actual working class. Much like half the Labour shadow cabinet.

The biggest socialists tend to be those with enough money to not have to worry about actual issues and can spend their time whinging about how unfair life is.

What I find amazing from all of this is that Corbyn had to pay a fine because he filed his tax return late.

If he can't sort out his own finances on time, then how is he going to deliver things on time as an MP or god forbid, a PM?

And nearly all the Tories...........

He should do what Dodgy Dave does and pay someone to do it for him.
