Tonight was the first time I ever actually enjoyed the dark zone. SImply because there was no one in it. Just went farming and collecting stuff. Got a supply drop which had a sentry glove in it so gave it to Radeon85 as he gave me a midas earlier and I am only interested really in the striker set.

Yeah I love an empty DZ feel so much safer

. What is the best way to level up in the DZ ? Currently DZ 33 but seems to take a while per level,...75 lvl seems so far away :mad:

I wasn't on long last night but it was good, warrengate was easy, though I kept starting the event early! Not sure why the Rikers get so annoyed at me shooting a news van's tires!

I think I enjoyed the incursion the first few times as it was challenging, now it's easier and a failure is usually bad luck + shotgunners. With full greens challenging has become a doddle.

I'm up for anything tonight, probably from 7pm too. Need some more DZ PVP though!

Love having an empty server, more relaxing not having to worry about rouges, and more bosses to kill

Massive thanks for that sentry glove, that was the only one I needed to complete my two sentry set, combined with four strikers I am doing a nice bit of damage, managed to get over a million crit damage on my Socom M1A, and that's not even the best version of it

Can't believe though I picked up another Midas, been waiting a month to get even one and I get three in two days, typical

Had a good run last night. Got all my dailies done, finished Falcon on hard for the first time, and had a bit of a runabout in the DZ as well. Got 3 pieces of striker kit now, but 2 are lower GS than my yellows, so they're not much use ATM, end up with a loss in Armour, Damage, health and skill if I equip them.

Hmm I feel an urge coming on to get a 214 gs sentry piece to get that 20 or 30 % damage to elites... Haven't had a midas drop yet. Also need my stamina to go up because with the new gear it's at an all-time low.

For all those wondering, they key is a gun with the 'Competent' talent with an active skill.

There was a video with someone 2 shotting the CM APC with explosive bullets from his sniper rifle after using the exploit.

Finally started to get some golds, and managed to grind enough parts and tools to make a gold pistol last night. Progress is slow lol.

Also, WTH happened to the dark zone. Pre update we were wading through DZ05 with purples no worries, now we're getting our butts handed to us in DZ04.

What I gearscore are you? I'm not sure if they only buffed the enemies in the 160+ bracket but it makes sense, at 200+ gearscore it's just challenging enough. If they had left the enemies as is it would have been way too easy.

The pit can be a bit hairy and those cleaners can still be a pain in an enclosed space.

Partially true, a mate and I tested other skills and so far it works with
Main weapon needs to have the Competent/Adept/Capable talent

If you join someone's game through mm it resets it also, but yeh game is buggy as hell

I really do not care about people exploiting to get the best gear,issue is when they get bored because they have hit the gear cap so start messing with people in the DZ that still want to get more out of this game.

In other news I tried a skill power build last night and I got to say having 1 person with a skill build in a team is very useful in PvE and PvP.

I'm bored at work and scribbling down calculations, I think I'll spend a little time tonight putting together an online calculator which should calculate your actual DPS.

Should be able to plug in damage, rpm, clip size and reload time to calculate actual DPS.

Anyone up for farming the challenging incursion let me know, gets boring doing it solo and it's pain in the ass getting one shotted by those level 34 shotgunners when solo, makes it hard to get my loot

Just want to get my gear score passed 200, managed to get a 240 tacticians knee pads and 214 striker backapack so not too bad.

I'm really enjoying this game obviously it has its issues , I've not really done much dz but over the last couple of days I've been trying to matchmake but I've just been getting kicked from all groups before we even start some dude actually said over voice "your probably a good guy and don't take this personal but your level is not high enough to role with us" I was abit wtf but I kind of get it but I wasted over an hour trying to find a group to run with. Is there a certain level i should try and reach on my own before trying to matchmake ?

That's the one problem with the gear score, people can see what your gear is like just by the score and kick you if they don't like it.

Feel free to join me and other members on here, we certainly won't kick you

This is one reason if other players mainly from here are not on I prefer to solo the whole game and why I take advantage of exploits to make my life simpler. Even if there was a glitch to make yourself invincible I wouldn't take advantage of it against other player as it's not fair and that sort of cheating in multiplayer I hate.
