That is an heck of a lot of money for a 3 year old Audi with the engine from an old S6. I'm genuinely surprised the new ones don't cost that let alone used ones. Was there really nothing else around for the money?

Something I did not mention, did you not consider maybe an F-Type R Coupe in either RWD or AWD as an option?

Either way the V10 R8 when I drove one briefly I thought was rather incredible, the way it could just pull from 2000rpm and scream all the way to insane RPM, power, torque everywhere and so damn smooth with it.

Enjoy it mate, they are pretty perfect out the box, but at this kind of money I'd have found a year or two old F-Type R Coupe also a very appealing option.

Too fat, not a sports car I'm guessing. They're a great GT/cruiser but in this company hopeless if you want to go out and smash a local piece of road.

Congrats Housey, it's about time!

Good choice on the V10+, I've never been completely happy with the V8, and the R-chronic gearbox is one of the worst I've ever driven. Quite how Audi took a Lamborghini box and made it worse I'll never know. Thankfully yours has the lovely DCT

All around an excellent car, and IMO better looking than the new model. Enjoy it, you've earned it!
