Reflecting on my time in the dz earlier.

I was taken out by rogues 4 times, losing the few pieces of HE gear that might have actually helped me progress that I have collected over the past 10 days or so.

Each time, including twice in a team with Neil, I was one shot in the back. How can it be called Player Versus Player when there is never a chance to actually engage with the player shooting you? One time for sure it was a hacker, the other three may have been just really overpowered. The last time there were 4 of us extracting and a group of three took us out with 1 shot each - that also had to be a hack but it happened so fast I didn't even see them coming.

I get the whole PvP aspect of the dz, but there needs to be way more consequence to going rogue. And 1 shotting other players in the back...that's just lame and sad.

Thanks Neil for the run through, was still enjoyable despite the rogue issues. I did get a good boost to dz funds, progress 2 ranks and get my weekly target of 50 rikers killed.

When game was released,the rogue thing was good i think - was quite a big damage if you gone rogue and others killed you.In fact not many went rogues because of the price of your death.Whiners made Ubi change that,so now going rogue is not that bad actually,all you loosing is little bit more XP and credits,but if you survive manhunt you will get some xp and dz creds.
Now that so many players left game and dz especially,rogues are hunting you like there is no tomorrow.Because of lack of players.Because its 80/20 that rogues are cheats.
I lost today ~30k XP and same ammount of dz creds because of cheats - teleporting straight at your extraction in DZ6 from DZ3,RPM and all chit.
Now i can confess that at that time i was thinking of going cheat way as well,was so pi55ed.
Still same number of cheats sadly who are even more dont give a fck about bans.
They really should make some option to buy "untouchable" status in DZ for PC/DZ creds or something for certain amount of time or something,because its impossible to ran/farm when you constantly run against cheats.

Where is my Strike Gloves ???

P.S.changed my Uplay name to fl3xxx3r (wifes idea) - maybe now i get fckn Strike Gloves :D

No worries, not sure what was going on with comms could see your voice icon thing moving but wasn't getting soubd.

It did get a bit daft at times yesterday, I got nuked by a group of 8+ rogues at one point. I don't see what would be fun about running around in such a big group being all fairly high level and killing people soloing.

I reported a pair yesterday (if for nothing else for ubi to check them out), I unloaded my mp5 into their faces and they didn't blink. They were in manhunt for a fair bit with a load of guys chasing them. Seemed a bit fishy.

Seems to be more people going rogue or baiting you to go rogue for no real reason. I ran past a guy who was extracting solo so on the way past I dropped a couple of attackers for him. The ungrateful guy shot me in the back, luckily popped a medkit ran on for a bit turned and hit him once with a distance snipe before he disappeared behind cover and his timer expired.

And don't get me started on people that let you kill yellow mobs/the named bosses before back shooting you. Same guy ninja's me twice yesterday c:D

I did,as well as Radeon i think
I honestly dont care if peeps cheating/glitching in single player,but when it comes to DZ (MP) then thats over the top.
And they gear was nearly 230GS,which says that that they glitched Falcon left and right when 240 gear was dropping
 
Yep last night was horrible Mario. My first 214 gs green drop from a boss and lost it twice to the same hackers. It's wearing me down, so to speak. Well, time to do some weapon rolls today, farm for mats, maybe the sniper incursion idea.

Problem is,that you basically must do DZ if you dont want lag behind (DZ credits,xp,blueprints)
There is no option to buy same blueprints as in DZ in base for PC
I believe Ubi/Massive will do something about it at some point,as more and more players dont want to step in DZ because of this.

Was having a good time up until those 4 hackers appeared. I went back in at about 6am this morning, entered in DZ1, saw a rogue flashing on the map, turned and went back into the safehouse and just made it when he appeared. So, I left and teleported up to DZ3, got 80 yards up the street when the same guy(Shooter), shot me in the back. Only one way he got from DZ1>DZ3 that fast.
 
really thinking about picking this up,now you guys/gals have been playing it awhile,whats your thoughts? seen it for£20 worth grabbing or?

Game is good,but you must like grind and loot farming.
Its also most fun playing in a group.
There a hackers/cheats in DZ (aka MP/PVP)
Crafting sucks atm
No Strike Gloves for me :D
 
Having trouble with rogues :( just moved in to the 161+ bracket a week or so ago and it's much worse than the 0-160 bracket.

Its gone from seeing 2 -3 rogue teams a night to everyone going rogue. One team even let me extract last night before shooting me in the back, presumably because of the easy xp.

I dont even blame them though. I see the problem being that at high levels DZ levels take ages to grind so going rogue is almost a necessity.

They need to add more ways of getting large amounts of xp and make the nomad set more about solo survival in PvP. Two pieces are easily available from the vendor in DZ06 but scavaging as the first perk? Thats useless.

No

The only reason people are playing it right now is because nothing else peaks their interest. As a game it is full of hackers in the main PVP DZ area and the PVE area is highly repetitive and bug ridden. The massive decline in playerbase is because people have either got bored or banned. However if you have nothing else to play then you may as well buy it.

so much so that I have more or less given up on my main character and started an Alt character yesterday. :o

How do you shift materials from one character to another though?:confused:
